ABSTRACT
In this work we analyze the nature of the language acquisition and the learning of a
second language. It is noted that the acquisition of a language involves a number
of variables and complex character structures that it has led to various research
principles and theories that remain throughout the years. We still continue
evolving in this studies, due to the complexity and potential of our mind, that is the
main element into the acquisition and learning. Teaching dedicated to the process
of learning a language should be aimed at achieving communicative competence
that allows the student to get complete fluency, integrating in equal measure the
basic principles of listening, speaking, reading and writing, which are the key
elements for the acquisition of a second language . Likewise the role of the teacher
is to apply different strategies to achieve the objectives in line with demand (needs
characteristics, etc . )of the Aprendices.
