Dear KLS Stanford Clients:
Petition to the Supreme Court of the United States of America
As you are aware from our previous updates, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled
against Stanford investors in the claim against the Securities and Exchange Commission
(SEC). After we advised all clients of the decision, KLS worked without funding to identify if
there were potential grounds to petition the Supreme Court of the United States to attempt to
overturn the 11th Circuits decision.
In our last update, we informed all clients that we have been able to identify sufficient
grounds to proceed. However, KLS cannot undertake the next step without funding. To that end,
several clients have requested further information, especially regarding the funding requirements.
For clarification, KLS requires a $750 fee from all clients in order to proceed immediately and
no later than June 30, 2015. Please see wiring instructions below. In the event that a sufficient
number of clients are willing to support an appeal, we will be able to proceed. If not, the unused
portion of these funds will be returned and KLS will unable to submit a petition, meaning the suit
against the SEC will be lost.
Our research and analysis of the 11th Circuits ruling in favor of the SEC shows that it is
vulnerable in a number of ways, including that it infringes on claimants constitutional rights of
due process and that it contravenes Congressional intent. Further details of our case strategy can
be provided to all clients who provide the required fee.
Several clients have asked about the possibility of an additional law firm joining the case.
KLS will always act in the best interests of its clients and would be happy to cooperate with cocounsel should any be willing to fund the case. In the event that any client is aware of such a
firm, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

As explained in our last update, there are strict deadlines for filing a petition with the
Supreme Court. As such, there is an extremely limited time to act. In the event that we do not
receive sufficient funding we will not be able to proceed and the 11th Circuits dismissal will
stand.

Peticion a la Corte Suprema de los Estados Unidos de America

Estimados clientes del caso Stanford:
Como es ya de su conocimiento, la corte de apelaciones del 11avo Circuito, decidi a favor de la
Comisin de Bolsa y Valores (SEC). Despus de comunicar la decisin a todos nuestros clientes,
KLS continu, an sin fondos, tratando de identificar posibles bases para apelar ante la Suprema
Corte de los Estados Unidos la mencionada decisin del 11avo circuito,
En nuestro ltimo comunicado, les informamos que de hecho, hemos identificado bases para
proceder con la apelacin. Sin embargo, KLS no puede tomar ese paso sin financiamiento.
Algunos clientes han solicitado ms informacin sobre costos. En tal orden de ideas, aclaramos
que KLS ha solicitado $750 como honorario a cada uno de los clientes a fines de proceder
inmediatamente y antes del 30 de Junio, 2015. Por favor encuentre las instrucciones bancarias
abajo.
Slo podemos proceder con la apelacin, si un nmero suficiente de clientes estn dispuestos a
apoyarla y pagar el honorario. Caso contrario, la porcin no utilizada de dichos fondos ser
reembolsada y KLS no podr apelar, significando esto que la decisin del 11avo circuito
quedara firme, pondra fin al caso y habremos definitivamente perdido la demanda.
De nuestra investigacin y anlisis de la decisin del 11avo circuito, hemos identificado varios
puntos que la hacen vulnerable, incluyendo violaciones a los desechos constitucionales de los
demandantes en relacin al debido proceso y que dicha decisin es contraria a la intencin del
Legislador. Ms detalles sobre nuestra estrategia legal sern suministrados a aquellos clientes
que paguen el honorario.
Algunos clientes nos han preguntado sobre la posibilidad de asociarnos con otra firma en la
apelacin. KLS siempre actuar con el mejor inters de nuestros clientes en mente y estamos en
disposicin de cooperar con otros abogados externos si contribuyen a financiar el caso. Si
conoce de tal abogado o firma, por favor djenos saber.
Como tambin lo comunicamos en nuestra ltima entrega, hay fechas limites estrictas para
presentar la peticin a la Suprema Corte. Tenemos poco tiempo para actuar. Para evitar la
prdida definitiva del caso requerimos suficientes fondos para proceder.
