A BRIEF INTRODUCTION ON Wr. Dr. A.

SURYA PRAKASA RAO

Most Honored dignitaries on the dais and off the dais,
I feel it as a great privilege for me to introduce you a dynamic personality
Wr.Dr.A.S.Prakasa Rao, Who was the honorable Regional Chairman of Alliance
Clubs International District 105.
He was born in a remote village SAMBARA which is on the banks of the
river THE GOMUKHI in Makkuva Mandal on 21-09-1954 with the benevolence of
SRI SRI SRI POLAMAMBA to poor parents late Adinarayana and Bhagya
Lakshmi. Simple living and high thinking is his motto. With strong will power and
dedication he acquired three post graduate degrees i.e., M.A., (Eng.Litt.), M.Ed.,
and M. Phil from Andhra University. Besides this P.G.Degrees, he was awarded
doctoral Degree on HUMAN VALUES IN EDUCATION from Andhra University.
His Ph.D. degree was adjudicated and appreciated by Prof. Callan,
Eammoan.K, Dean Academic Affairs, Stanford University, U.S.A. His M.Phil
Thesis won appreciation from the then Vice Chancellor Dr. Y.C. Simhadri
during 2004.
His constant Zeal and enthusiasm brought him many awards and
rewards. On 05.09.2004 Dr. P.V.G. Rajah Saheb College of Education,
Vizianagaram, honoured him as the Best Lecturer in Teaching English. He is a
good social worker. He won the Best Lecturer Award from Sri B. Kishore, IAS;
the District Collector on 26.01.2007 (Republic Day).
On 28.03.2007 the
Aaradhana Social Service Organization, Prasanthi Nagar, Kukatpalli,
Hyderabad awarded him The Life Time Achievement Award for the year
2007. On 15.12.2007 he was awarded the Best Club Secretary Award by the
Walkers International President. He received this award from Dr. C. Narayana
Reddy Gyanapeeth Awardee and Sri R. Suresh Reddy, Speaker, A.P.
Legislative Assembly in the Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Public Gardens,
Hyderabad.
On the eve of The Independence Day Celebrations held on 15.08.2007 at
Police Barracks he received the Best Lecturer Award for achieving 98% of
results in intermediate English Subject for five Consecutive academic years. He
received this award from the Honble Minister for Forest Sri S. Vijaya Ramaraju.
On 06.04.2008 during the SARVADHARI UGADI Puraskarams, The
Mother Teresa Social Organization, Visakhapatnam awarded him

AANIMUTYAM award and honored him on a large scale. On 27.04.2008 Sri Rao
Memorial Organization, Visakhapatnam felicitated him with the Best Social
Organizer Award. On 05.09.2008 on the eve of Teachers Day the Achievers
Organization honored him at Basheerbaugh Press Club, Hyderabad. On
24.10.2009 the Chaitanya Bharathi Organization, Gajapathinagaram honoured

him on his eloquent speech, Dr B.S.R. Murthy, Dr. P.Krishna Rao and many doctors
honored him on the occasion.
On 05.09.2010 the Govt. Of Andhra Pradesh declared him as The Best
Lecturer for the year 2010 and honored him at Ravindra Bharathi,
Hyderabad. Dr. K.Rosaiah, Chief Minister of A.P. honored him. Sri D. Manikya
Vara Prasad, Sri D. Sridhar Babu, Ministers of Education was Present. On
26.04.2011 Sri Pydimamba Vijaya Kalaniketan, Vizianagaram honoured him as
Best Social Worker.
-2The Lions Club, Vizianagaram, The Rotary Club, Vizianagaram, The Vasavi
Club, Vizianagaram and many other social organizations honored him with
reverence. The Chaitanya Yuvajana Seva Sangam, Kanapaka honoured him
with a Civic reception. He also won the appreciation of Sister B.K.
Annapoorna, of Brahma Kumaris Organisation.
On the eve of Teachers Day i.e., on 05.09.2011, he was honored as the
Best Lecturer in the state by a role model and a man of vision Sri Nara
Chandra Babu Naidu, former Chief Minister of A.P. in N.T.R. Memorial Trust
Bhavan, Hyderabad.
On the eve of Teachers Day i.e., on 05.09.2012, Alliance Clubs
International Organization honored him as the Best Lecturer and Best Zone
Chairman in Budhil Park, Visakhapatnam.
The GATE Organization honored him as Best Social Worker, Who has
committed for the cause of social awareness and social consciousness regarding
eradication of illiteracy and ignorance among rural people.
The Narasimham Foundation and the Sarojini Naidu Mahila
Mandali, Vizianagaram, honored him as an Eloquent Orator in English at
Gurajada Grandhalayam, Vizianagaram. The Pydimamba Vijaya Kala Nikethan,
felicitated him at the same venue on its annual day. The Satya Sai Dhyana
Mandali honored him on 08.03.2014, on the eve of International Womans Day.
Industry is the secret of glorious success is his slogan. There is no
exaggeration to say that whoever follows him will never walk in darkness. He is
full of radiance of light of life. Service is his motto, Sacrifice is his Vision.
Gratitude is his attitude.
We, the members of ALLIANCE CLUBS INTERNATIONAL wish him good
health and bright future in the years to come. We are very glad to have such a
dynamic, dedicated person as our president. With these couple of words from the
