Boost the overall volume of the phone:
1) Open Dialer and type *#35789#*, this opens the Engineering Mode.
2) Swipe right 2 times to reach Hardware Testing. Select Audio.

Normal Mode: No idea. Probably the earphone speaker.

Headset Mode: Headphones
LoudSpeaker Mode: Loudspeaker, obviously.
Headset_LoudSpeaker mode: No idea. Tell me what is it if you find out.

3) Select the mode you want and change the Max Vol. 0~160 value.
- Normal Mode: Default 128.
- Headset: Default 120. Mine is 140, higher value causes distortion.
- LoudSpeaker: Default 120. Mine is at 145.
- Headset_LoudSpeaker: Default - Headset 112, Speaker 120.
The changes apply immediately. Be careful though, high volume could damage your
speaker. Do it at your own risk.

If this is your first Android device, I suggest you get familiar with it. Try it
s basic functions, see how you can find things in the menus, settings etc. AFAIK
there is no custom ROMs for neither T200 nor T200C (your device) so basically s
aving the device's stock state is okay, but you won't probably install any other
ROMs in the near future.
You have to know that with a rooted device you have absolute power on your devic
e, even you have the ability to destroy it completely. So be extreme cautios and
careful when you modify deep settings. Before doing anything dangerous, make su
re you have read the howtos or guides carefully, and you fully understand what y
ou are doing. And follow the guies step by step exactly how it is.
As you have a rooted device, you can use the MTK droid tools Windows application
to make a full backup of your device. For this, you will need USB drivers for y
our phone.
I use PDA drivers for my T200 for normal mode operation (I mean when the phone i
s on, and connect to the PC via USB), I found it in this topic:

And for SP flash tools (another dangerous tool to make backup or restore your ph
one) when you are in preload mode (battery and sim cards off, just connect the U
SB cable, Windows device manager will find an MT65xx Preloader device) the prelo

Framaroot.
Press the 3-dot button on the top right, select Driver Status and see if Status
says Normal or Abnormal.
If you have rooted it, successfully installed busybox and the driver, you should
be fine.

I Got my THL T200 on Saturday and I'm pretty impressed.
Rooted with Framaroot, installed TWRP Recovery and installed the Rooted Rom post
ed earlier.
Then set up all my stuff, installed xposed framework, gravity box, all good.
on Sunday was my first day to really use ist, took photos, read online, texting,
on monday morining i still had 65% Battery left.
Bluetooth works fine for me, in the Car and at Home streaming audio, NFC works w
ithout problems, i disabled the local "Tags" Software to use it with Trigger wit
hout prompting.
No Complains so far, just two questions:
is there a way with xposed to make the android buttons on the bottom smaller? th
e appear to be quite big...
Root it with Framaroot, do a complete system and IMEI backup using MTK Droid Too
ls, get a 3rd party recovery from needrom and install it using Mobileuncle. You
are all set.
SP Flash Tool is used for flashing (downloading) an already backed up image of t
he device's partitions stored on your computer to the device itself. You can't u
se it for backup.
There are no custom ROMs for the device yet. There is a dude at 4pda working on
LeWa port, but it is still work in progress

And tunned abit by android tunner cos i used all this scripts pureperformance,td
t and the rest and phone became more laggy a android tunner did the trick.
When memory drop around 400mb phone start by laggy ,when u clean it all start wo

Overall am verry happy with it screen is nice ,clear,bright and crispy. Use ing
is pleasure, build is solid, i use only that back case wot come with phone and n
o problem , i droped it alredy few time on floor and all work good , no single i
ssue on screen. A camera dnt have zoom. But i found u can in message apk u can z
oom in/out font of ur message like in browse
Rooting is very easy download and install frameroot and use last/bottom option ,
reboot and u got root.
Then from play store dwnload android tunner, then go into system mgr., Then in f
irst tab u got options to tunne it.
Me personaly rid off stock luncher and replaced with apex, more customization. I
aswell trn off some aps with autostart+ some system aps mtk, enginering, locati
on etc. No diference.
Wot i ment by no zoom is in stock camera apk u dnt have zoom , i used fx camera
but zoom is bad , loose quality alot.
Battery is good in that case u can get second battery+ wall charger from alliexp
rees.

Ps. I asked thl to relase kernel sources for phone but they sended me to firmwar
e, when i told them i didnt ask for that and if they can help/ give any answer ,
they again send me to firmware. Thirs time i told them i asked for kernel sourc
es cos this could hel us improve their device they stop answering. Thats pain in
the ass 6592 dnt have sources , cos 6589 r leaked. This could help improve batt
ery and bring cm/omni for our device

this is latest custom firmware from "VIVO ~ Funtouch OS". i try until now no pro
blem i think this is the best custom firmware for T200 .
Try with Root Genius, work fine on the latest ROM.
Gravity Box Function:
Out of interest. What do you tweak on this device using Gravity Box?
just a view optical things, center clock, battery ring on lockscreen, customize

I too had the problem of low volume on headphones but it is very easy to correct
On you phone keypad dial *#35789#* this will take you to engineer mode
at the top of the screen you will see Telephony
swipe to the left twice and you will see Hardware Testing
Tap Audio

Tap Headset mode

set Max Vol (0-160) to approx 130-140 and tap Set ............job done !
If you hear a little distortion on the headphones at maximum setting just turn d
own the value max to maybe 125 ?
It worked very well for me
