3 Introduction - We are planning to buy 25 tractor trailers for transporting
the EXIM containers from Port to CFS Main, CFS Annex, DRT CONCOR and
any other third party CFS facility or own facility which may come up in near
future, Port to various empty yards located in and around Nhava Sheva and
CFSs to port.
3.1 Fuel: Fuelling Of Vehicles
3.2 Vendor will provide sufficient number of drivers to manage
and maintain 25 Nos. of trailers on 24 x 7 x 365 days basis. Driver
will be available for 72 Hrs in a week with one day weekly off.
3.3 Maintenance: Maintaining the vehicles in full, place for
maintenance, storing of spares, mechanics, helpers, etc.

3.8 Vendor shall move the containers within free period i.e 3 days.
4 Misc Terms and Conditions
4.1 All the vehicles will run only for APMT IS business.
4.2 Contract Validity - 7 Years.
4.3 Contract Termination - At 1 Month's Notice Period. At any
point of time. Vendor will return the vehicle in proper shape and
sound condition, with all accessories which will be provided at the
time of contract. Failing which the repair/replacement will be
deducted from deposit.

 4.4 Upon awarding the contract vendor will give one time deposit of Rs
2,00,000/- (Two Lakhs Only) per vehicle with APMT IS. This will be retained
by us till the end of 7 years contract.
4.5 At the end of contract vendor will be allowed to keep the vehicles and
we will keep the deposit. In case vendor choose to return the vehicles we
will refund deposit without any interest.
4.6 Vendor will do minimum 70 laden round trips per month from Port to
CFS and back.
4.7 APMT will monitor the movement performance for period of 3 months
on quarterly average basis. If any shortfall against committed trips, the
same shall be reconciled on quarterly basis and adjusted against the next
payment, as per the agreed rate.
4.8 Vendor will take care of all statutory compliance for running and
maintaining all the vehicles.
4.9 APMT will monitor the movement performance for period of 3 months

4.10 Inspection of the vehicles will be carried out at any point of time
without prior intimation by APMT IS.
4.11 Productivity performance review will be carried out every month by
APMT.
4.12 APMT reserves the right to increase or decrease the proposed (25
Nos.) strength of vehicles on the basis of the movement performance with
mutual consent.
4.13 Vendor shall comply with Law of Land, in case of any claim arises out
of any incident or accident. Any and All liabilties will be payable/absorbed
by the vendor.
4.14 Statutory compliances shall be complied by the vendor and same
shall be produced on as and when demanded by APMT.
4.15 During the tenure of the contract vendor shall maintain the vehicles
in good working condition; by carrying out timely preventive/break down
maintenance.

 4.16 If contract terminates with the vendor before the completion of

tenure due to poor performance/non compliance of statutory requirements,
the following deductions shall be applicable:

4.17 In case of accident, evacuation of the vehicle and container from the
accident site will be the responsibility of the vendor. For completing the
necessary formalities with insurance, local authorities, police, vendor shall
inform APMT immediately about the accident to get the relevant
documents. But the sole responsibility remains with the vendor.

4.18 In case of accident vendor shall bring the vehicle on road; after
doing the necessary repairs in consultation with APMT.
