TBR reviews

Me and my friends were planning to go to mother cluckers bar but instead went here and it was the best
decision we made. The place looks very appealing. Has two floors. When we went it was so crowded. I
guess it was because it's a new place.. But the cocktails here are a must have. We had the starters. They
are really good. Have the calamari dish. Overall a great place.

Dear Yashaswini,

Thank you for your positive feedback! Please come early on Fridays &
Saturdays as we do not take reservations and the place is full. We are glad
you liked the cocktails and hope that you come back to try the rest of
them on our menu. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the Calamari
Tempura as well.
See you soon!

Akhil: Not very famous, maybe its very new, but i swear this place is stunning stunning with the perfect
everything.
Staff good, food good, prices- real good (its not at all expensive), drinks good, crowd good, music good,
ambiance good, stag entry allowed-good.
Food and starters are really amazing.
Have been here 2 times now and had a great time every single time. The ground floor is more
sophisticated and quite but the party goes wild on the 1st floor. The bonhomie of the staff will surprise you
as they are very polite and welcoming.
How can I not mention the DJ, 29th Nov, whosoever it was, Sir/Madam you are a beauty. He/she played
the best songs and teamed them once or twice with Punjabi numbers. One more thing which i liked was
that they have skipped the disco lights and fancy lighting which makes the place look cozy.
The unfinished flooring and walls add culture to the place and I am pretty sure, TBR is on the verge to
become one of the most look-out-for places in Bangalore.
A relatively new pub in town but it is surely making others run for their money. And why shouldn't it, the
black rabbit is actually the Roadrunner

Dear Akhil,
Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. We will convey your
comments to our DJ, and we are sure he will be very happy to hear that
you enjoyed the music so much! We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed
the time spent here. We strive to continuously improve the dining
experience our customers have.
See you soon!
P.Basu. Went here with hubby and friends for a late sunday lunch.. The one thing which quickly caught
our attention was the full occupancy of this place at a time very late for lunch by indian standards !!!
Not delaying much ,we proceeded straight wit drinks and French trimmed chiken wings to go wit it.. Must
say , the best chicken wings ever !!!!! For mains , chicken pot pie , london fish n chips and braised lamb
shoulder were ordered.. Fish was yummy & so was the lamb.. Succulent ,tender and perfectly marinated.
The food portions were very very generous for the price at which its offered.. Service was courteous and
the ambience casual.. A superb hangout place to catch up with friends.. Lastly ,Kudos to the Chef for
churning out such delectable dishes.. Will visit again soon !
Dear P. Basu,

Black Rabbit. We will convey your comments to our Chef, he will definitely be happy to hear how
much you liked the dishes. We hope you will visit us again and sample more from our menu.
Seeing the exterior of the restaurant, i got too excited to eat in there. with the expectation so high i entered
the restaurant. Since we didnt do reservation, we got a table outside. both of us being non-smokers found
it difficult to even breath, but that's okay we came here for the food. The waiter suggested a fresh plum
cocktail and some pastry filled with mushrooms, the drink was good but the pastry wasn't up to the mark.
Then we ordered a chicken burger and a beef burgers - both tasted fine, but the coleslaw served along
with it was out of this world.
Dear Jessica,
Thank you for giving us your review regarding your experience at The Black Rabbit. Our
customers feedback is very important, as it lets us know how we can improve. TBR aims to get
known for its ambiance, food and cocktails and we would like you to visit us again and allow us

Black Rabbit is the new kid on the block in Indiranagar's already crowded 100 ft road - but it manages to
hold its ground pretty well. The menu lists inventive continental fare and the chef backs up the promising
menu with flawless execution. We ordered the pulled pork belly and crab spring rolls for starters and the

grilled basa fillets over linguini and a blue cheese burger for our mains - everything was delicious, mainly
because the chef let the natural flavours of the meats shine instead of dousing them with spices and
sauces - when he did put a sauce on the plate, he made sure it was fantastic - the crab sauce that came
with my basa fillets deserves special mention.
The Black Rabbit manages its large space well, and provides both out-door and in-door seating. the
interiors are heavy on wood and done aesthetically without being pretentious - they have four rows of
coloured bells hanging from the ceiling, each one with its own delightfully unique pattern.
Dear Debobroto,
Thank you for your positive feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your experience at The
Black Rabbit. We are sure that our chef will be really happy upon hearing your comments. We
hope you will visit us again and sample more from our menu. Soon, we will open the pub, so we
hope you will also give it a try.
See you soon!
Wonderful drinks all kinda of cocktails a little high end place but with best people in your company it
makes it worthwhile. The appetizers are good the chicken wings are amazing the spice well goes well with
the drink . The fish and chips were good as well.
Dear Rajesh,

Thank you for taking the time to give us a positive review. We will convey all your comments to
our Chef, he will be very glad to hear that you liked the dishes so much. We are happy you

liked the cocktails and hope that you come back to try the rest of them on
our menu. Hope to see you again soon!

A good restraunting experience is what begins from the moment you step out from your vehicle to enter
the place. You guessed it right, the Valets. My 1 star rating is courtesy the pathetic services on this front.
Its Friday night, and you cant hop out of the place to some other nearby restaurant as the baboons want
you to take your car to the place next door too. And these guys dare to warn me of clamping my vehicle if i
left it even after we had clocked a good bill with them.
With this, I dont even feel like commenting on the place or the food as they soured my experience up.
All the best to the folks planning to leave their cars to the Black Rabbit's valets!

Good place good music good ambience. Pretty trendy as well. Went there for dinner and was told that the
table would take some time. We were asked to wait by the bar. Good bar with a decent collection of
alcohol but the waiters were kinda messed up. I asked for a rum and coke and a mojito. 10 min after my
order...The waiter comes and asks if I have placed my order. Weird. Then I ask him to take my food order
and he is like I m from the bar. I'll send someone else to take ur food order. Hmm..then why wasn't he
behind the bar table...
Anyways we ordered the filo (mushroom spinach and cheese) wrapped in a profiterole. No hint of
cheese..let down..then we ordered the crispy chicken burger...that was yum. I asked him to make it spicy
but he couldn't :(. All in all 2 drinks an appetiser and 2 mains...1500 bucks...good fb value for the quality.
Would have given them a 4 had it not been for the messed up service.

The place is decorated in typical contempo, lounge-y style. This place is cool. It's atmosphere is
Informal and relaxed but equally feels a special place to eat.
I had only a couple of hours in-between work to catch up with my sisters. Firstly, the service was
absolutely flawless... courteous, swift, pleasant - I give an outright five stars to our waiter - he was
incredible at making us feel welcome and obligingly answered all of our questions and requests.
Everything was friendly, quick and efficient.

I admit that I picked this place for the patio. What a nice patio, really. Well, the weather helps for sure. We
had lunch on the patio and it was a fun little spot for an afternoon cocktail in the sun. The food and drinks
did not disappoint. I love the style of food they serve. We went straight for the Large Plates. Among them,
we ordered some of our favorites, Twice Cooked Pork Belly, Grilled Lamb Chops and The Pork Chops.
And everything was delicious. Seriously. Delicious!
We also heard the place offered some really good desserts and we decided to go for the Dessert Platter.
When it was brought to our table, we were pretty awe-struck with the way each dessert was neatly placed
and presented and gosh, they tasted sooooo good....it almost melted in my mouth !
Some of the desserts we tried were the Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding (This was absolutely fabulous!), Key
Lime Pie (Another must try !), Chocolate Mousse Cake, Warm Carrot Cake, Chocolate & Walnut Tart and
London Cheese Cake.
So yeah. Eat there. I've pretty much gushed for five paragraphs. There isn't much more that I can say.

Dear Preetha,
Thank you for your positive review. We try our best to make our guests feel comfortable by
providing a warm and friendly service. We are glad to hear that you have liked our food

on our menu.
We look forward to serving you again!
The black rabbit is a must try, and i have been dying to go there for quite a while now, finally managed to
go there recently. We walked in at 8:30 and there were just 2 tables free, good thing i had the presence
of mind to make a reservation.
the restaurant has blended rustic and elegant very well to make it look like a modern british pub, everyone
seems to be talking about the ceiling so i wont.
we ordered the duck coctail samosas and the crab thermidor.
both were excellent, the samosas had a light crust and a tasty filling, the crab was crunchy and the filling
creamy, both paired really well with the accompanying sauces.
for mains we had the fish n chips and i had the all american burger with bacon.
the burger was excellent, patty done perfectly, bacon slightly over and the accompayments really good,
my only grouch was it was a little smaller than expected.
the fish n chips was a lil disappointing though, the batter was a tempura batter and was over cooked and
oily, the tartar sauce on the salty side.

the service was excellent, Gaev does an excellent job running the show, giving each guest personal
attention and suggestions on the food.
Dear Carl,
Thank you for taking time to write a review. Please come early on Fridays &

Saturdays as we do not take reservations and the place is full. We always

customers is very important. We look forward to serving you again soon.

Suggested by a couple of friends as a must visit, I showed up at 4.30 on a Sunday but was told that they
are open only till 3pm. Determined I came back the next day, not crowded at all, situated right at the
centre of 100ft road Indiranagar. Ordered the haystack salad which was recommended and was beyond
expectations! The quantity was great and filling. For main course we ordered the London Fish & Chips,
which was a tad too oily, while the fries were not mixed well so the top layer was extra salty. The drinks,
not so great, ordered the Virgin watermelon mojito which was "ok".
Extremely affordable even for students!
The waiters are extremely well trained and mannered, decor is beautiful and the seating is spacious with
outdoor as well.

Dear Sharada,

A restaurant which has got the right mix of all- Ambiance, Food and Service. Perfect for a weekend lunch
of a late evening dinner. Well the choice on the menu is limited or less at the moment but can say that
almost every item is worth trying. The steak is just amazing. Hay stack salad is a must try and so is the
Crispy Chicken Burger. Not much of a drinker but friends loved the cocktails as well so all in all a really
nice place to dine out and have fun.
Dear Shashi,
Thank you for your valuable review. We will definitely convey your comments to our Chef, he will
be glad to hear that you liked the food so much. We hope you will visit us again and sample more
dishes from our menu.

A restaurant with character and a manager that really does a fab job of knowing exactly what you like: if
you're a veg make sure you have the baked filo parcels stuffed with mushroom and cheddar cheese they
are super wow and then you must surely try a burger it's s must here!
Dear Kushal,
Thank you for your review. We are sure that our chef will be really happy upon hearing your
comments. We are glad you enjoyed dining at The Black Rabbit and we hope to see you again
soon!

It's the newest place to dine in with a twist.

Loved the ambience , I went on a Saturday they weren't taking reservations for a table. We got a place by
the bar, ordered a chicken crispy burger and a salad which was really good. A pint of beer is
approximately priced at 225/- good music and a nice place to go chill on weekends!
Dear Sanjal,
Thank you for your review. Please come early on Fridays & Saturdays as we do

not take reservations and the place is full. We hope to be able to serve you again
soon!
Better than usual standard. Pricier on pocket. Ordered the bacon burger and two desserts (sweet tooth
craved more). Burgers were tasty....but not quite there. Desserts were excellent. Sticky toffee was yummy.
Deconstructed Key Lime was good. Note to chef: there is no need to be Blumenthal.
Ambiance was wow. Wait staff were courteous.

I reached the restaurant at 8:20pm on a Friday while my two friends were still stuck in traffic. The lady at
the reception logged my name in the system and helped me with my choice of table in the restaurant. I
asked her if it would be okay if I wait out for my friends considering she had booked the table for me, she
nodded that it would be okay. I stood in a visible 10ft from their reception waiting for my friends who finally
made it after 25mins. Just when we were all set to begin the party the Lady acted like she doesn't know

us and told us that there are no tables. I reminded her that she had already logged my name and table in
the system and while she confirmed that, she also let us know that it's not ours anymore! We were
recommended to wait for another 30mins.
To, the Management.
If you don't have a reservation system, let your customers know so. If you have one, dont take their table
away without intimation!
In my case, I could have waited at my table if i was told so. Even ordered a few drinks While i did that!

Another addition to the list of lounges/pubs/restaurants in Indira Nagar...The place is great...I liked the
ambience...Does not look cramped like most other places on 100ft road...its quite spacious..the music
they played that night was good...quick staff service..however I didn't enjoy the food much..didn't get any
good suggestion from the waiters either..i felt the quantity of large plates was smaller than what they call
they the small plates...probably the choice of dish that we had ordered was supposed to be like that but
atleast the waiter could have informed us that the quantity won't be enough for even 2 people..however at
the end of the day..its a nice place..
Overall my rating would be 3...

Yeah no . Okay, I love going to new places and when I saw the black rabbit for the first time , whilst driving
through indiranagar, I knew I just had to go there . So after a really tiring day at work , I got decked up and
dragged my best friend all the way there . When we entered , the stewardess told us " sorry ma'am , all
the tables are sold out " . No surprise there . So we asked " okay can we just put our names down on the
waiting list , we ll just wait at the bar ." She smiled and very jovially replied " there is no waiting list .
People are just finding their own tables . Just go inside and find your own table ." Hmm weird but okay .
So we went inside , took a turn about the room and obviously expected to not find a table instantly . We
were in for a long wait or so we thought . However a couple of minutes later , a gentleman and his lady
friend , a few feet away from where we standing , got up after paying his bill . So we were like " whoo hoo
table for us ! Cos we saw it first and it dint look like anyone was waiting for that table . We were just going
to sit down when a gentlemen in a grey melange sweater came to us looking as though we grew second
heads . " can I help you guys ?" He asked . We were like hi we thought we could take this table . And he
was like " ma'am there are like 20 people waiting for the table " . So I got a little annoyed and told him that
his stewardess told us to find our own tables and so we did . He said " I understand that , but there are
still 20 people waiting for the table . If you really want this table , il give it to you . But please be courteous
enough to give it to the people who have been waiting for it ." Okay firstly , how are we supposed to know
there are 20 people waiting without a waiting list ? Are you just giving the tables away to your friends ?
And since your stewardess said find your own table , we did . Either you have a first come first serve
policy since you don't take reservations on a Friday or Saturday or you have a list right ? By all means
give tables to your friends . That's okay . But you are the new kid on the block . And you do have a lot of
people in there . Eventually there will be a lull . And during that lull , only your patrons are going to
frequent you . So make sure that you treat people with respect and try to build up a strong following that
way . I'm extremely loyal to plan b mothercluckers hardrock and any place that gives you a good bacon
burger really . I was so sure I was going to like you guys . We just shrugged and said we' ll just leave
then . You just said " okay " . And I saw a lot of people getting into tiffs with management because the
whole table thing was so confusing . Get a waiting list policy or first come first serve . I took offence at the
way you callously treated me and my friend . I won't be coming back to your establishment again . Good
day .

Great Ambiance, decor but food was not upto the mark .. what I really I liked was the starters - baked
asian cocktail duck samosa & crab and mackarel cakes rest all was below standard .. for main dish we
have ordered for baked tilapia fillet fish was not at all fresh i was getting a foul smell from the fish .. & my
friend ordered for twice cooked pork belly with mashed potato & vindaloo sauce ... Pork belly was good
but the vindaloo sauce was pathetic .. overall the experience was not that great ...

Oh man, I really loved the place. It was the right amount of fancy and wasn't all that heavy on the pocket
either. Well, my friend and I had a lavish lunch with 2 cocktails each, 2 starters, 2 main courses and
dessert of course.
Before I make any comments about the quality of food, I must admit that the service at this place is off the
hook. We both truly felt that Black Rabbit had some exceptional service. Both waiters and managers were
friendly and very aware of the food and beverages unlike other places. They made spot on suggestion
based on what we preferred and felt like eating.
The starters and cocktails hit the rights spots, really. Caramelized pork something and bacon wrapped
cheese - Both starters were brilliant. I forget names but my baked mushroom/chicken pie was just alright
but my friend's rosemary chicken was beyond delicious!
We were too full and slightly buzzing but decided to try some dessert anyway. Chocolate mousse and
raspberry sauce - average, I'd say.
But overall our experience at Black Rabbit was lovely. Spent about 1600 each.. not all that bad, I guess,
for all that food we ate. I'd go again! :)

Nicely done up place, with a good selection of food, good music and a lot of friendly smiling faces. I had a
good time here last week and it is safe to say this is my new favorite place in Bangalore right now. There
will be more visits to try all the different things on the menu.

Dear Sunitha,

RIP Sunny's Indranagar and hello Black Rabbit ! Well well, D and me walked in last Thursday at 845 and
all the tables were taken! We were offered bar seating and thought why not, just as well. The space is an
eye candy and top marks for the interior stylist! The music that night was 80s and it was fun listening to
the songs of my era !
I thought the long communal table was cool, but they kept an empty seat between diners, I wondered if it
didn't that take away from being a shared space? We debated on the concept and finally agreed that
yeah.. a semblance of privacy was needed.
The drinks and food menu is not very exhaustive, which is always a good thing, I've come to realise.
Having said that, the wine list and mixed drinks seemed very modest. (Say compared to Asian-fusion
rivals Mamagoto and Fatty Bao, which have some bloody awesome cocktails in their lists).
We finally ordered the coconut mojito and some draft beers.
The mojito frankly looked like buttermilk with pudina leaves and while it was potent, I didn't quite get the
coconut hit, I was expecting? The drafts were decent.
The food selection spans a range a continental and Indian fusion and there are lots of interesting choices,
though pretty limited for vegetarians.
From the small plates we ordered a crab and makarel cakes and for the mains we got a rosemary roast
chicken and baked thillapia fillets.
All the food looked fabulous on the black plates for sure. The crab cakes were yum and crab-fish mixture
tasted pretty fresh. The chicken was brilliant, but D thought there was too much sauce and that it was too
intensely rosemary-ish (but I loved it). The accompanying carrots were ace, but the mashed potatoes
seemed a tad gluey.
The baked thillapia was one of those fusion plates which came with a side of linguini, little bowl of bisque

and a crab fry. The sides were all great, but the fish fillet had a rubbery texture and for some reason didn't
yield to the fork easily. That took away a little from being a really good dish.
For desserts, we settled on the chocolate mousse cake and it was really good. This time all the individual
components from the cake itself, to the dense and tart raspberry compote to the crunchy edible cup
holding the icecream, scored big time !
Service was really quick, in fact we had to take a 10 main breather post mains, before ordering desserts!
The prices are in the range of similar outlets in the area and I can imagine this place being absolutely
packed on weekends ! Surely give this rabbit a visit.

Dear Vijaykrishna,

One year on and many new places opens up in Bangalore. The Black Rabbit is probably the most eye
catching on the 100 ft road, with its name and style. So we head there for a quick lunch expecting good
food. And that's exactly what we got.
The ambience is real good. Decors are impressive. But it does get crowded so having a reservation is
highly recommended.
Well..the start wasn't as impressive. We wanted to the crispy fried prawn. It was bland. We could taste
only the batter and not the prawns. The only form of taste came when we dipped the prawns in the sauce.
The watermelon mojito tasted like a normal mojito with some watermelon pieces in them. But the bad part
of the meal was over with that.
We tried the braised lamb shoulder. The meat was very tender, very flavorful and almost melts in your
mouth. The veggies were cell cooked and seasoned.
We also tried the twice cooked pork belly. The garnish was exactly the same as the previous dish. The
pork was very tender. Perfectly cooked. Maybe a bit bigger portions might have been a plus.
With an after taste of real good food we thought we could share a dessert. So we ordered the warm sticky
toffee pudding. It was served with vanilla ice cream. The pudding was lip smacking good. Was a perfect
way to end a good meal. The melted toffee was probably the best I have ever had.
Had a great time.. Highly recommended. Hope they keep up the good work.
Dear Tharik,

A damn nice place. The indoor and outdoor spaces are so well integrated. I went with a bunch of 6 when
they were just a few days old. The staff, so eager; the food, fresh and the drinks, prompt. Well priced and
prominently located, The Black Rabbit has all the markings of a regular Friday night spot.
Dear Upasna,
Thank you for your positive feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your experience at The
Black Rabbit. We try

our best to make our guests feel comfortable by providing an efficient

Still trying to figure out the relevance of the name 'The Black Rabbit' for a restaurant! However, it shouldn't
matter as at the end of the day one would love the place for its great ambiance, light music, good wine
and dine and friendly service. Vegetarians might not find many options but if hanging out with friends or
catching up with someone is the main agenda of visiting a restaurant then just go for it! Overall I would
rate it good with food: 3.5/5.0Ambiance: 5/5Service: 4.5/5.0Pricing: 3.5/5.0 (food isn't very expensive but
drinks as always drinks cost meagbucks)
Dear Nikhitha,

Thank you for your valuable feedback, it allows us to continuously

improve our service and offer our customers a great dining experience. We
are glad you liked the food and wine and hope that you come back to try
the rest of them on our menu.
See you soon!
1) They wouldn't allow a friend of mine inside because he was wearing a chappal.
But this piece of information wasn't written anywhere.
After telling him that we would walk out if they don't let him in, they did. So apparently no
shorts/chappals.
2) They dint have a mocktail menu. But very sweet of them to get one for me when I asked.
3) the first starter that we ordered was absolutely less. Something with tofu. They should at least
use a small bowl and make it look a little more than what it is.
3) we ordered for lasagna and after 45 mins they told us it isn't up to the mark and asked us to
reorder.

The burgers which came was decent.

4)Very less options for veg food.
5) music was loud.I would have liked it talk yo my friends over the dinner. The people refused to
make the volume less. I wasn't there to dance. I had come for dinner. So music should be
appropriate.
6) service was great! They took a lot of efforts to be there.
7) great location and the ambiance is very good.
Over all a fun place to go. I had a wonderful evening there :)

TBR looks a lot like every other place on 100 Ft Road i.e lofty ceilings and ironic posters. But the
decor stands out because of the community table and the bar which is quite classic - looking.
Food: The starters were good. The bacon - cheese thing was exceptional. The main course was
underwhelming. I ordered a Filet Mignon medium-well done but it was fairly rare. Also it was
wasn't hot enough.
Drinks: I wanted a Martini Bianco (it's on their menu) but it wasn't available. The cocktails my
friends ordered needed to be modified after initial tasting and the staff did so willingly.
Service: very good. The staff is courteous and being new, very open to feedback.
Ambience: the place has its own teething problems and is still to find its footing. The music,
especially, was way too loud for a restaurant. Also, it is a proper sit-down restaurant so why was
EDM being played? And when most people were done with dinner and wanted to dance, they
switched to (boring) retro.
But overall the place definitely has potential and I'm sure all the small negatives I've mentioned
can be ironed out over time, if they take their feedback seriously.
Quite content

The Black Rabbit is a must visit!! We went on a Wednesday evening and the place was perfect for
mid-week drinks and dinner with friends. An easy going and lovely ambiance, is coupled with
excellent food, decent prices and a really good vibe in general. Highly recommended!

Great food, beautiful ambience!!! Loved the service very quick and prompt....I had Green Apple
martini and my friend ordered for a Mellon martini both were very nice...indira nagar has many
restaurants but this one stands apart...:)
Dear Naina,

Thank you for your positive feedback! We are glad you liked the
cocktails and hope that you come back to try the rest of them on our
menu.
The newest resto-bar to join the many eateries on 100 feet road, is nothing short of amazing. We
visited this restaurant and were really impressed with the decor, particularly the beautiful lamp
ceiling and the large community table in the center. the staff was very welcoming and helpful. We
ordered some fresh fruit martinis, which could easily be compared to the best served in the city.
Of the four appetizers our group ordered, the double cooked poor belly was simply superb!
couldn't really complain about the pasta and pizza either. They also offer some excellent
desserts, one of them being the baked mousse cake. I would recommend that every Banglorean
foodie visit the burrow at the Black Rabbit.
Dear Sunita,

Thank you for taking time to write a review! We will convey your

Absolutely love this place..... The best burgers in town and the most delicious martinis I have ever had!
The music is fantastic over the weekend and the staff is extremely helpful.
Another fabulous bar in indiranagar!!!
Dear Kavya,

We are glad you liked the martinis and hope that you come back to try the
rest of them on our menu. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the burgers
as well. We hope you will visit us again and sample more from our menu.

The service is extremely slow. We waited for an hour to get one appetizer. The place and decor is quite
nice but the food is definitely not value for money. We ordered burgers, fish and chips (just one piece) and
a few drinks. The food was quite average but it's the service which really needs to improve if it wants to
compete with the other famous restaurant on 100 feet.

Dear Rameez,
Thank you for giving us your feedback regarding your experience at The Black Rabbit. We are
extremely disappointed to hear you did not have the same dining experience as most of our

us again and allow us the opportunity to make it up to you.

Food quality: very good

Service: just ok
Attitude of the employees: horrible. They made us wait for too long before they gave the check and when
asked, the attitude they showed us was near disgusting. I don't feel like going there again.
Value for money: not much

There are hundred such restaurants in Indira nagar itself! You need to struggle to survive. Service is key.

A pleasant surprise that is how I would describe the place....let's start with the service courteous and
attentive and clearly customer is important to them...attention is not obtrusive but just right....highlight a
friend had ordered the fillet mignon which was not up to scratch the attention he got and the apology as
well as what else they could get him was praise worthy no defensiveness and alacrity in dealing with the
situation....starters were awesome tempura calamari, prawns, chicken tikka spring rolls which were the
highlight in my opinion slow braised pork belly were fabulous, mains were average nothing to talk about
and especially when compared with the starters, dessert platter which we tried was good with the
chocolate pudding and carrot cake as standouts the martinis especially the musk melon was
superb....music too loud which does not allow for a conversation and more so because we are 40s and
50s age group and really not our scene however I cannot imagine anyone being able to talk with that
level of volume and maybe have candles or equip waiters with torches to help with the menu.....towards
the evening the retro music was fantastic and got the whole crowd going...ambience and atmosphere is
very welcoming ....overall I would recommend the starters, desserts, pick your mains carefully enjoy the
cocktails and music albeit maybe 2-3 notches lower in volume and certainly bang for the buck! I would
certainly visit again for the food service and ambience....

Naive bearers. Dont know anything about the dishes. We didn't have any reservation. Front desk
said only one table available. But we were sitting alone in the main hall till we left. Entrees served
in half hour then almost one hour waiting for main course. Finally got something different than we
expected. We won't blame since every restaurant may have slight difference in the items. But we
got pissed off when the bearer and then the manager started explaining we are wrong about the
dish. We cancelled the main course and asked for bill. Finally the owner came (nice guy)

apologised and waived off our bill. His service was good but felt bit humiliated later. And we got
our Saturday evening spoiled too which was important than 650inr bill. To conclude we were not
happy about overall service. Bearers came and asked 3 times about what we ordered, not sure
why. Our table guy was annoying in explaining the menu. We finally asked him to leave, we will
read the menu. They claim its a sports bar but looks like a normal restaurant. It doesn't have the
drinks area like TGIF or Fishermans Wharf or Xtreme Sports bar and no TVs. Just a normal
restaurant. looks good. I dont think we will recommend this place just because the owner is good.
We are food lovers, we have ate same cuisine food from almost all types of restaurants in
bangalore. Compared to that we didn't like the salad we ordered (only thing we got after being
there for around 1.5 hours). Well I guess they will do something about it. I wish they could improve
overall quality. Else for the price its not worth. Our bad luck. It was a really bad experience.

I've always been a toit fan and thought that it was the best and most entertaining place in banglore but
hell, the moment I stepped into the black rabbit I was literally blown away! Yea the decor was a bit subtle
compared to toit but it was a really good change. Well lit up place playing the most funky music I've heard
in a while! I really liked what they did to the place. Now coming to the drinks, well I dont really drink at all,
probably just a beer once in a blue moon, so yea I ordered a drought beer and my friend ordered a
muskmelon martini both of which were really good. The beer was pretty light had this ever so sweet taste
to it and the martini was pretty refreshing apparently. On to the food, I think they make the best food
period! The starters were of the right quantity and the taste was just perfect for out pallets and
complimented our drinks. We ordered a calamari tempura and tanduri chicken thighs. But the highlights of
the day was the main courses.......my friend ordered rosemary and garlic marinated roast spring chicken
and I ordered the best dish they had, the T-bone pot roast!!! The chicken was really good apparently( I
didn't taste it cause I was too busy with my dish!!!) and my dish was well lets just say this......THE BEST
STEAK IVE EVER HAD IN A REALLY LONG TIME!!!!!!! it is the BEST steak in banglore period!!!!! The T-

bone is slow cooked for 8 long hours. So I guess you guys know what it means, it cooks in its own juices
as well as its marinade for a really long time! The result, well you get to taste the most tender , flavour full
meat you'll ever come across in banglore!!!! Trust me guys, y'all should really try this place out.....worth
every penny yr spending! Good food, amazing ambience and great music all contribute one to have a
memorable Time with one self or with friends. Cheers ppl :)

Yet another entrant in the bustling neighborhood of Indiranagar. We were looking for a new waterhole
other than Puma Social Club ( we literally die there!) and decided to try this one. This place though is not
a waterhole and is rather quite posh and classy both in terms of its decor and service and yes the prices !
It was their second day of service after the launch party and as per the server they were not officially open
yet. We started with drinks and ordered a mix of cocktails and usual stuff like Black and White. The whisky
sour was quite nice and possibly one of the better ones I have tried in Bangalore. The only catch was the
absence of a drinks menu and hence we had to settle with our usual poison. The food was good though
definitely not of star quality. The options are limited and I am not sure if it's for now. Maybe they will
increase the options once they are more settled. The service was also quite decent and some of the
attention was actually quite obviously because of the newness of the place.
The one not so good moment was when the cheque arrived ! Partly our mistake that we did not enquire
the rates for our drinks before ordering and maybe the lack of a drinks menu with prices did make us a bit
lax on that front. Also the staff should have ideally informed us about the rates. Perhaps they don't expect
their patrons to be conscious of the right side of the menu but a 10 K cheque for 5 people with no dinner
can shock even the most seasoned restaurant / pub hoppers.
Overall we had a superb time even though we were a bit skeptical when we entered the place since it did
not really give a club kind of feel. I would however give the credit to good company and some great
conversations in addition to the vibe of the place.

It's relatively a very new place in bangalore... And an addition to the numerous gastro pubs which have
opened up recently in Indiranagar. I visited this place in a group of ~10 pax from office.
Ambience - the entrance was literally calling out. Kind of the charm that sunny's used to have when it was
there. Overall decor is different. Presentation unlike a pub, more like a restaurant. The ceiling hangings
are really nice!
Food - portions are proportionate to the cost...not exactly value for money (not that u expected)! Potato
fries was yum, tofu spring rolls were different, potato skins was below average and I was informed by my
non-veg company that pork belly had lot of fat, chicken legs was good and fish was worth a try. Duck
samosas was good.
Drinks - This place is yet to stabilise operations! No drinks menu, limited bar (we were informed
beforehand about it), inconsistent proportions (got multiple proportions and mixes for LIIT). Not that great,
but livable wine collection..
Service - staff was available to help out, but they need more experienced staff for sure! Some of them
were nice, including the fact that both manager and owners were present to oversee preparations!
Other matters - they need a bigger washroom...guys you can't have a pub with just room for 1.
FYI - One of Toit's owners visited you while we were there... Maybe to check out competition!
Giving a 3.5 given that I will be headed there again! However they will need to get over the teething issues
soon enough!
