1 CONCEPT OF PKI BASED QR CODE

The world is rapidly transforming and the use of digital media over paper is being
encouraged. Though we are moving towards digitised world, we cannot overlook
the existence of Paper Document. In few processes, physical document are must.
Mostly in government Sector where large chunk of documents get printed every
day. Apart from government other sectors like Education, Transport, and Aviation
are also producing physical documents in large amount.
These documents are crucial and establishing their authenticity is necessary
from desired to critical. There must be a mechanism to verify its authenticity.
Currently there is no such robust mechanism to verify these documents
authenticity which leads to prospective forgery of the documents.
(n)Code envisages to develop a solution to print and authenticate the documents
with PKI enabled QR Code (n)Dorse. (n)Dorse is a PKI based QR Code
Solution. (n)Dorse shall provide platform to print documents online/offline with
PKI based QR Code. It shall also provide an application to verify the PKI based QR
code printed on the document. (n)Dorse shall be designed to mitigate the
forgery of the documents.

1 CODE GENERATION
The documents shall be signed by a legally valid Digital Signature Certificate
(DSC) of the authorised personal issued by a Licensed Certifying Authority.
Each document shall have a unique (n)Dorse QR Code printed on it. This QR
Code will look like other ordinary QR Code but cannot be read by any web
camera or mobile phone or tablet. It can only be read by a valid application and
DSC. If the QR is read through a reading device without the (n)Dorse verification
application and valid DSC, it shall throw junk values and the actual content
encrypted on the QR Code shall not be decoded.
The exquisiteness of the (n)Dorse solution is that the encrypted QR Code can be
printed through any printer on any form or paper. The encryption is done when
the QR Code is generated through the application. In this manner every
document shall be digitally signed and secured through PKI technology used by
(n)Dorse.

2 VERIFICATION SERVICES
The document encrypted can be verified by the (n)Dorse services available
online on CLOUD. All it requires is a 2-D Barcode Scanners or High Resolution
Web Camera or Mobile Camera and the (n)Dorse application loaded on a PC or
mobile device or table. Authorised users of (n)Dorse Verification Services can
only verify / validate the information stored on the (n)Dorse Code.

3 BENEFITS OF (N)DORSE SERVICES

 (n)Dorse Code is PKI enabled highly secure QR Code which is tamper

proof.
(n)Dorse Code is printed in any Physical/Electronic document.
The (n)Dorse Code can be read and validated by any Web Cam or
Camera equipped Mobile Phone/Tablet/Phablet or Barcode scanners which
can read and decrypt the same off the Physical document.
The (n)Dorse Code can also be scanned by above mentioned device from
mobile phone Screen/computer screen if the document is scanned and
sent by mail.
It is envisaged to provide the (n)Dorse Verification services on
CLOUD.
