II. PROBLEM DEFINITION

1. Introduction:
Recruitment management system is the comprehensive tool to manage the entire recruitment processes
of an organisation. It is one of the technological tools facilitated by the information management systems
to the HR of organisations. Just like performance management, payroll and other systems, Recruitment
management system helps to contour the recruitment processes and effectively managing the ROI on
recruitment.

III. CUSTOMER REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION

1. Existing Scenario:
This project is aimed at developing a web-based and central Recruitment Process System for the HR
Group for a company. Some features of this system will be creating vacancies, storing Applicants data,
Interview process initiation, Scheduling Interviews, Storing Interview results for the applicant and finally
Hiring of the applicant. Reports may be required to be generated for the use of HR group.

2. Popose Solution:
Development of a web-based Recruitment Process System for the HR group for a company.
There are HR group who will create vacancies, create applicants (persons applying for a vacancy), initiate
interviews and close vacancy. There are interviewers who will be intimated about the interview schedule
and finally enters the result.

3. Hardware/Sorfware Requirements:
Hardware

A minimum computer system that will help you access all the tools in the courses is a
Pentium 166 or better
256 Megabytes of RAM or better
Windows 2000 (or higher if possible)
