Applications in Prescribed forms are invited from eligible Medical professional candidates
in general / reserved category for appointment on Purely Temporary and ad-hoc basis on vacant
posts of Assistant Professor Class-I (Medical Education), Specialist Class-I (Medical Services and
Public Health) in various subjects as per attached notified list at Government Medical Colleges,
District, Sub-district Hospital and Community Health Centre.

Waiting list will also be prepared for advertised vacancies in the concerned
subjects only.
Prescribed application form is attached herewith and the same will also be available at
GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar on the day of Interview.
Candidates appointed on ad-hoc basis will be required to appear before the Gujarat
Public Services Commission for selection as and when the posts are advertised by GPSC.

In the event of non-availability of full time candidates, candidates for full time
contractual basis will also be considered till the regular candidates are available. (For Medical
Education Dept. Post only.)
The selection / waiting list will remain valid for a period of one year or till another
advertisement is published, whichever is earlier.
Pay and allowances will be as per existing Rules of the Government.
Qualifications and Teaching experience should be as per Government recruitment
rules.
As per R.R. dt.04-10-2008 (4) (c) (i) Diploma Candidate who have possess two years
experience in Government Hospital or owned managed or controlled by the NonGovernment Organisation Hospital or Trust Hospital can apply for Medical Services and
Public Health Department Specialist Class-I Vacant posts.

Age limit is relaxable for SC / ST / SEBC & Female candidates of Gujarat as per existing
Government rules in force. The Candidates of SEBC Category (applicable only to the domicile
of Gujarat state) should submit latest Non-Creamy-Layer Certificate obtained from the
concerned competent authority after date 01-04-2015.
The candidates shall be required to pass the examination of "CCC+" level course, as
may be determined by the Government from time to time as per Govt. G.A.D. Notification
No.GS/2006/31/KTP/102005/1519/K, Dated 30-09-06 and CRR/10/2007/ 120320/G.5 Dated
13-08-08.

The candidate who will be completing experience on or before 30-06-2015 will be

considered for selection as well as preparation of waiting list.
Those who are working in Government Medical Education, Medical Services and
Public Health Department in Gujarat State on same cadre will not be considered and need
not apply.
The candidates should come in person and bring their applications with original and
