CHOOSE PROPER PLACEMENT

Allow at least 1 ft (30cm) of space between the Float Tent and room walls for
maintenance.

IMPORTANT

HEAT

HEAT
VERIFY THE PADS ARE THE CORRECT SIDE UP!
They will have markings on each pad to verify which side is up.

Lay down radiant pads so they are just barely touching each other.

THIS SIDE UP
THIS SIDE UP

BURNS
Use heating pads only as directed. Confirm that the heating element in the
heating pad is facing upward. While the heating pad is activated, do not
leave in contact with any object other than the waterproof liner as directed,
and avoid direct contact of skin with the heating pad.

LOAD BEARING CAPACITY & WATER

The float tent is intended for use by one person at a time. Confirm that floor
load bearing capacities are able to support the float tent weight when filled
and occupied.

4.

PLACE LINER AND TANK IN PLACE

With heating pads properly placed, cover with waterproof liner and place tub
directly over pads. The liner should stick out evenly on three sides, but there should
be excess on the side where the tent door will face. With the liner in place, the tub will sit exactly over
them. To avoid damage, make sure tub legs are not on top of pads.

NOTE: The side of the tub you will enter on has three big loose loops of canvas inside the tub to
hold the filter. Position the side with filter loops on the end the door will face.

INSTALL FILTRATION SYSTEM

Thread the hose through the channels on the side of the tank. The pump will be
located at the back of the tank, and the filter bag will sit next to the door.

6.

PLUG -IN AND VERIFY SAFETY

Plug Grounding Probe, Temperature Controller, and UV Pump into a wall outlet. For
safety, the tank water should be electrically grounded due to a possible induced
current from the heaters. Make sure the Grounding Probe is plugged in and submerged at all times.

HEAT PADS

NOTE: Plug in the pads temporarily to verify they werent damaged in transit. The pads will heat
almost too hot to touch.
Our products have GFCIs built into the cords. GFCIs cut the power if the electricity ever comes in contact
with the water. If an accident were to happen, they will save your life! Test them once a month by pushing the test button on the GFCI. If it powers off they are good. Be sure GFCIs rest on a raised surface
above plug level while plugged into the wall.

IMPORTANT
EVERYTHING MUST PLUG IN GFCI
NEVER PLUG ANYTHING NEAR YOUR TANK INTO THE WALL DIRECTLY. EVERYTHING SHOULD PLUG INTO A GFCI DEVICE. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY
RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
NOTE: The grounding probe may plug directly into the wall.

RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK

Plug Install the float tent at least three feet from all electrical outlets and
metal surfaces. Do not allow any electric appliance within three feet of
the float tent, and never introduce electric appliances into the water, as
this may result in serious bodily injury or death.

7.

FILL TANK WITH EPSOM SALT

This part takes time. Dont rush it, just enjoy the process.

Start by smoothing out creases on the tub floor before adding water. Once smooth,
fill the tank with five inches of water. Add a couple bags of Epsom salt, (100 lbs) at a time mixing in fully
as you go.

IN-LINE WATER FILTER

5 INCHES OF WATER (13 cm)

ADDITIVES AND SALT INGESTION

Do not add additives (such as bubble bath and bath salts) to the water in
the float tent, other than Epsom salt as directed. Do not ingest the water
in the float tent.

Agitate water and salt by stirring and mixing. It may be easiest to stand in the water and mix it around
with your feet. Once all the salt is added, fill until the water level reaches 10 inches.

FILL TO 10 INCHES
OF WATER (25 cm)

PROPERTY DAMAGE
Do not overfill the float tent. Never leave the float tent unattended
when filling with water. Be aware that water rises as you enter the float
tent. Avoid using sharp objects when near the float tent as this could
puncture the float tent and cause flooding. Always drain the float tent
as directed before moving the float tent to prevent flooding. Always
detach the tent from the tub before disassembling the tent. Never pull
on the tent to remove poles.

SUITABLE INSURANCE
Improper use of this product may create certain risks of damage to
person and property, including water damage. Please consult with your
insurance advisor for information about suitable insurance coverage.

8.

TURN ON AND VERIFY SETTINGS

Plug the two heating pads into the Temperature Controller. Plug the UV Filter in.

The first thing you will notice is a slight glow from the UV filter. The Temperature will now display a
temperature detected by the attached temperature sensor. Securely place sensor in the water toward
the bottom of the tank to allow the Temperature Controller to auto-regulate water temperature through
heating pads. Set Temperature Controller to : 93.5 F (34 C)
Anticipate the temperature rising approximately 1 F (1/2 C) , per hour.

UP

To set the temperature controller,

single click bottom button to set
the temperature, and use the top
and middle buttons to adjust

DOWN
SET

To change degrees to Celsius

hold the top and middle (up and
down) buttons simultaneously for
three seconds.

TEMP CONTROLLER

TEMP SENSOR
(6 in deep)

You should now see the heating indicator light turn on and within minutes be able to feel warmth comping up through the pads in your tank.

9.

INSTALL TENT COVER

Float Tent Cover will have a tight fit. Work each corner one at a time sliding them
down a few inches each time around.

10.

INSTALL TENT DOOR

Door poles go in sleeves located around the perimeter of both the tent wall and tent
door flap. Each pole will have a number on it. Insert poles in their corresponding
pole sleeves as illustrated below.

INSTALL AIR VENTS

Insert vent stem through vent holes on the back of the Float Tent and snap together
with the other half of the vent on the other side. Tuck in three tabs to start and use
finger to tuck the fourth in.

ASPHYXIATION
Lack of ventilation may cause injury or death. Before entering the float
tent, confirm that the air vent stems are inserted as directed and functioning properly.

12.

PLACE CONDENSATION LINER

From the inside of the Float tent, free the condensation liner out from the cover and
tank walls. Allow the liner to hang free so any condensation dripping down the tent
walls will drip down the liner and back into the tank.

CONDENSATION LINER

IMPORTANT
ALWAYS CHECK YOUR TEMPERATURE BEFORE GETTING INTO THE
FLOAT TANK. DO NOT EVER FLOAT IF THE TEMPERATURE IS ABOVE
96 F, OR IF IT FEELS ABNORMALLY WARM.

FIRE HAZARD
Keep all flame and other heat sources away from the float tent, including
the tent fabric. The fabric may burn or melt if placed in contact with any
flame or other heat source.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL USE

Do not use drugs or alcohol before or during use of the float tent. The
use of drugs or alcohol may increase the risk of injury, unconsciousness,
and possible drowning.

SLIPPING AND FALLING

To avoid falling or other injury, use caution when entering or exiting the
float tent.

CHILDREN
The float tent should not be used by children under the age of [12].
Closely watch all children in and around the float tent, and never leave
any child unattended inside the float tent or with access to the float tent.
It is recommended that all doors and windows to the room containing
the float tent remain locked to limit access.
