Sale of Application Kits, Submission of Online Application Form, Document Verification & Confirmation of Application
Form for Admission to First Year of Four Year Full time Degree Courses in Engineering/Technology for Academic Year
2015-16
This notification is being issued for Sale of Application Kits, Submission of Online Application Form, Document Verification and
its Confirmation at Application Form Receipt Centres (ARC) by candidates to be admitted in Autonomous Colleges,
Government/ Government Aided Colleges, University Managed Institutes, University Departments, ICT Mumbai, such Unaided
colleges and/or such number of seats from Unaided colleges, which by mutual consent have decided to form part of this
admission process of Engineering/Technology Courses for the Academic Year 2015-16.
Minimum eligibility criteria for applying to admission through CAP to these courses are as mentioned below.

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of
Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination
Secured minimum 50 % marks (minimum 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability
candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/
Technical Vocational Subject$ added together
Obtained a positive Composite
Obtained All India Rank in JEE (Main) 2015
score*.
(Paper 1) given by CBSE.
Availability of the Application Kit , Information Brochure and Mode of Payment

Candidates shall procure/purchase Application Kit form any nearest

ARC against the payment in CASH of Rs. 700/- for General Category
Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates (Rs.
500/- for Reserved Category & Persons with Disability Candidates
belonging to Maharashtra State only)

J&K Migrant Candidate shall procure/purchase the

Application Kit from the branches of Axis Bank at
Chawadi (2359),G S Marg(1011), Highland Tower
(147), Udhampur(1573),Srinagar(1013) against
the payment in CASH of Rs. 700/-.

Fee paid is non refundable and non transferable under any circumstances. No other mode of payment is applicable. Refer Rule
No 2.11 regarding Rounding off of percentage of marks for deciding the eligibility, if applicable. List of ARC is available on
website.
The Online Application Form is being made available to only those eligible candidates, who are desirous of seeking admission
to the aforesaid colleges through Centralised Admission Process (CAP), on the official website
www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/fe2015

Aspiring candidates are required to fill in the Online Application Form, take printout of Online Application Form and Confirm the
Application Form in person along with duly signed printout of the Online Application form, required documents (both originals &
attested copies) at the ARC listed on website as per schedule. The merit list of eligible candidates for Centralised Admission
Process will be displayed on website.
Applications received by post at ARC/DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be made.

The Application Kit consists of Application ID & Password as well as important instructions/guidelines and various stages
for CAP Admission and Information Brochure The candidate can submit ONLINE application form with the help of the
Application ID and password.
Candidates are hereby informed that they should not share or disclose their password to anybody as it may be
misused by others.
It is MANDATORY for all eligible aspiring Maharashtra State and All India candidates to submit and confirm Online
Application Form for admission at any ARC.
J & K Migrant Candidates applying for Engineering/Technology courses should send duly signed print out of online filled
application form and attested copies of required documents by hand/speed post/courier for confirmation to The
Principal, Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Versova Road, Munshi Nagar, Andheri (West), Mumbai-400 058 as
per the schedule. J&K Migrant Candidate will get the Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement through their login after
confirmation of application form.
Maharashtra Candidates having All India Rank declared by CBSE shall be considered for allotment for both types of seats i.e.
Maharashtra State Seats and All India Seats. Such candidates will be given best single allotment through CAP as per inter-semerit.
It is not mandatory for the candidate to go to ARC for confirmation of Online Option Form, however candidate can
avail the facility at ARC for filling and confirmation of option form if required. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/- in
cash as facilitation fee for each of CAP Round I & II at ARC if the facilitation is availed by the candidate. All ARCs shall
remain open on all days including holidays and Sundays for submission & confirmation of Application Form and Option
Forms during the schedule.

Once the candidate confirms his/her Option/Preference form online through his/her Login ID for the respective
admission rounds from a place convenient to him, Candidate will not be allowed to change/cancel the
option/preference submitted under any circumstances.
8. The Option/preference form just submitted, but not confirmed by the candidate himself/herself will not be processed for
allotment for respective CAP Rounds.
9. The eligibility of the candidates passing the HSC (Std. XII) or equivalent examination from a School/College/Examination
Board situated outside India shall be further decided by the University Authorities to which the candidate is admitted.
Hence such candidates are advised to get their eligibility verified by the respective University Authorities before seeking
admission to the Engineering courses in the State of Maharashtra.
10. Candidates who have filled in and confirmed the aforesaid Online Application form for Admission to
Engineering/Technology course at ARCs and who have been assigned a Merit No. shall only be eligible to participate in the
CAP.
11. If candidates fail to confirm online filled application form at ARC, then such applications will be rejected and name of such
candidates will not appear in the merit list(s) prepared for the purpose of CAP and shall not be able to participate in the
CAP.
