The ITSC has established a new Technical Reference TR 40:2015 Sensor networks
for smart nation (homes) in March 2015. The TR provides a set of core requirements
and recommended communication and interface standards for sensor networks for
the home setting. It will help facilitate the implementation of sensor networks in
the homes, improve the interoperability of home sensor networks, promote sharing
of sensing data and infrastructure, and reduce deployment and operating costs of
home sensors.

SS 584 was developed to provide businesses with greater clarity on the levels of
security offered by different cloud service providers (CSPs), and to spur the adoption
of cloud computing across industries. The certifiable standard provides relevant cloud
computing security practices and controls for cloud users, auditors and certifiers
to understand cloud security requirements, and for public cloud service providers
to strengthen and demonstrate the cloud security controls in place, in their cloud
environments.
