Vision
The Bulacan Agricultural State College as an outstanding higher education institution in the nation with its provision of affordable and excellent education.

3. Maintain a standard of excellence in fields of endeavor the institute is engaged in.
4. Establish linkages with different agencies and establishments (private and government) as training ground for student and faculty development and for possible

Elementary Statistics
Basic statistical concepts; frequency tables and distributions; probability; sampling; tests of significance; regression and correlation;
introduction to analysis of variance and experimental designs, use of statistical presentations as aid to reporting information.
3 units
MATH 110 (College Algebra)
2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory = 90 hours

Course Objective
:
At the end of the term the student is expected to:
1. Acquire comprehensive understanding of the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the college;
2. Internalize the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the college to achieve excellence in education;
3. Understand and discuss some of the issues and problems associated with collecting and interpreting data from surveys, polls, and other statistical studies.
4. Select and produce appropriate tabular and graphical formats for displaying univariate data sets and know how to summarize information about the centre
and spread of a univariate data set.
5. Understand the concepts of probability, random variables and their distributions, in particular the binomial distribution and normal distributions.
6. Understand the concepts hypothesis testing for population averages and percentages.
7. Select and produce the appropriate tabular and graphical formats for displaying bivariate data sets and carry out correlation, regression and analysis of
variance.

X. Class Policies
:
1. Special quizzes and exams will only be given to students who are absent with valid reason (e.g. sickness, attended a seminar).
2. Projects and assignments must be submitted on or before deadline, otherwise will be graded ZERO.
3. Students must wear their ID and uniform during the days they are required to.
4. Cheating and any other similar forms will be considered as FAILED.
5. 10 absences will be considered as FAILED
6. Those students who will get 55% or higher grade but were unable to submit all necessary requirements, INC will be given until such requirements will
be satisfied.
