laboratory called C-Shell. When the stowaway is discovered, his father is furious. By
then the Seabug has returned to land. There is nothing the Professor can do. He warns
Kayan to stay out of trouble and is soon lost in his research. Left to wander around by
himself, Kayan stumbles upon a locked room. The sixteen-year-old discovers the secret
of the locked room and realizes that he and his father are in grave danger. In fact, the
world is in great danger.
This story keeps the reader in suspense right to the end. The reader will be
greatly entertained and will be tempted to read all two hundred plus pages in one
sitting. The novel is not only enjoyable to read but it also contains a message about
how serious problems can be solved with courage. Seashell is highly recommended for
readers in the 12 to 17 age group.
