Highlights: Assisted behind-the-scenes organization of office services includes, but not limited to: typing, filing,
word processing, data entry, clerical, and correspondence. Main communication function is leading youth groups
through the Indiana State Legislature. Position is during Indiana Legislature: January – April.
• Front Office: First point-of-contact with students and school representatives. Also, interact with senators,
their office and staff in setting up times for meeting with students.
• Back Office: Organize and process mailings, database entry, correspondence, and more.
• Utilize interpersonal, communication skills in daily presenting and speaking to 30 to 40 youths. Give
instructions, answer questions, and rout them to the appropriate senator for their page assignment.
• Handle everything in a calm, courteous, and efficient manner. Often resolve problems before they occur.
• Can provide excellent bi-partisan references from senators and their administrative staffs.

My most recent position in the State Legislature covers a broad range of assignments providing
