About the Institution

R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE)
established in 1963 is one of the earliest selffinancing engineering colleges in the country.
The institution is run by Rashtreeya Sikshana
Samithi Trust (RSST) a not for profit trust. The trust
runs over 25 institutions and RVCE is the
flagship institute under the trust. RVCE is today
recognized as one of India's leading technical
institution. RVCE is an Autonomous college,
affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological
University (VTU) Belagavi. RVCE currently offers
12 Bachelor & 22 Master programs, and carries
out research and consultancy activities in all
the departments, with also provision for Ph.D.
Studies in all the departments. All UG programs
have been accredited multiple times. Have
applied for accreditation for all eligible PG
programs. The College currently has student
strength of about 5700, faculty strength of 450
and 250 Research Scholars. Given below are
the brief highlights of the institute.
The institution has set itself a Vision To Be a
Global Leader in Quality Technical Education,
Research, & Innovation Through Team Work,
With A Focus On Development Of Sustainable
And Inclusive Technology. All its projects are
in line with the vision of sustainable and
inclusive technology development, with a
focus to contribute to both technological
leadership of the nation and at the same time
contribute to the development and well fare
of all sections of the society. RVCE is rapidly
expanding its R&D activity and Industry
academic collaboration. RVCE has been
awarded 'Sustainable Institute Industry
Partnership SIIP-2014' Award, by the Society
for Educational & Entrepreneurship
Development (SEED)-Chennai, during
National Conference on Sustainable Institute
Industry Partnership SIIP 2014 at IIT-Madras,

Chennai. RVCE has been awarded

Engineering College of the year 2014 by
Higher Education Review for Academic
Excellence, during December 2014.
About the Conference
The conference aims at providing an
opportunity for exchange of ideas and
dissemination of knowledge among
Academia, Industry, Research Scholars,
Scientists, Entrepreneurs and N.G.O. for
sustainable growth of the society. In view of
interdisciplinary research and also to know
research carried out by other engineering
streams it is very essential to do collaborative
research with other streams of engineering.
Hence the conference is jointly hosted by
Electrical & Electronics, Electronics &
communication, Electronics &
Instrumentation and Telecommunication
Engineering Departments. Contributions are
invited from prospective authors from related
areas. Technical papers are solicited on any
subject pertaining to the scope of the

Paper Submission
The authors are requested to submit the full
paper in the IEEE double column format,
restricted to a length of six (6) pages to
umaraok@rvce.edu.in or umabv@rvce.edu.in
All contribution should be of high quality,
original and not published elsewhere or
submitted for publication. All the submissions
will be refereed by experts in the field based
on originality, significance, quality and clarity.
Accepted papers will be published in the
proceedings of the conference, provided at
least one of the authors registers and presents
the paper.
