The features of the VIDYA TURANT EDUCATIONAL LOAN are as under:

Eligibility:

Student should be an Indian National.

Students should have cleared the previous qualifying
exam and selected through Entrance Test conducted
by Competent Authorities.
To assist the needy and meritorious students who are
in need of education loans who are pursuing their
higher studies in reputed institutions viz., Ist level
XLRI/IIMs/IITs/NITs/IISc/ISB (Hyderabad) &
Other institutions as per list enclosed.

4) Insurance premium for student borrower, if
applicable
5) Caution deposit, Building fund/refundable deposit
supported by Institution bills/receipts.
6) Purchase of books/ equipments/ instruments/
uniforms
7) Purchase of computer at reasonable cost, if
required for completion of the course
8) Any other expense required to complete the
course - like study tours, project work, thesis, etc
9) Reasonable lodging and boarding charges will be
considered in case the student chooses / is
required to opt for outside accommodation.

Note: No prepayment penalty will be levied for

Other conditions:
I. Online Applications will be received directly at designated branches through on-line
mode.
II. Upon receipt of application, standard acknowledgement giving a reference number will
be issued. The acknowledgement will contain contact details of the bank official, could
be contacted in case of delay in disposal of application.
III. The designated branch will deal with the applications irrespective of permanent residence
of student or the place of working of parent.
However, there is no bar to the student to avail finance from any other branch other
than the designated branch as per his/her requirement.
IV. The parents /guardian of the student will be the joint borrower.
V. In the normal course, while appraising the loan, the future income prospect of the student
only will be looked into.
VI. The loan to be disbursed in stages as per the requirement/ demand directly to the
Institutions/ Vendors of equipments/ instruments to the extent possible.
