Qatari Diar Real Estate Company was established in 2005 by the Qatar

Investment Authority, the sovereign wealth fund of the State of Qatar. Headquartered northeast
of capital Doha on the coast of the Arabian Gulf, Qatari Diar was entrusted to support Qatars
growing economy and to coordinate the countrys real estate development priorities.
The companys first project, Lusail City, was launched in December of that year and quickly
went on to gain tremendous praise for its innovative approach to real estate. The progressive,
self-contained city is the largest single development to be undertaken in the State of Qatar, and
although it is currently under construction, Lusail already signifies Qatars progress on a grand
scale, reflecting the vision and quality that have become synonymous to Qatari Diar. The Lusail
Real Estate Development Company was established in September 2008 with a dedication to the
development, construction and ongoing operations of the visionary Lusail City development.
Parallel to its significant infrastructure developments within Qatar, the company has been
committed since its founding to bringing the Qatari Diar vision, one for real estate that improves
quality of life and contributes to the community, onto the international stage. Today, Qatari Diar
has established itself as one of the worlds most trusted and respected real estate companies

As of January 2012, Qatari Diar is capitalised at US$4 billion and has more than 49 projects
under development or planning in Qatar and in 29 countries around the world with a combined
value of over US$35 billion.
Working here I would learn to develop a sense of relative compassion to socializing with
different ethnics and learn more about the booming real estate of Qatar, it would truly be a
learning experience and a career changing path for me
The work compression and qatarization would result to be a barrier as preference falls to them
than expatiates but the best part is being a member of an international fraternity

Aspire LOGISTICS was established by Emiri Decree number 1


for the year 2008 as the strategic business unit of Aspire Zone Foundation responsible for
supporting the activities of Aspire Zone by;

Building, operating and managing high quality international standard sport


facilities

Providing support for staging of sport events and activities

Providing shared services support for the precincts business partners ASPIRE
Academy and ASPETAR

Aspire LOGISTICS is comprised of three Directorates: Venues, Operations and


Technical and Corporate Services.

Logistically, large offices can have real issues. Open-office plans have been proven
over and over again to do more harm than good for worker productivity, & office
politics

My aim behind choosing on working in one of these companies is the exposure I would be opted
out for , the cultural ethics I would learn and more importantly to acquire Knowledge on how to
be a socially interactive individual in a community of people from dissimilar cultural
backgrounds
I believe that Work helps us gain a sense of pride and self-satisfaction by reaffirming that
we can support ourselves. With work, we earn money to cover bills and pay for activities
in our leisure time.
But its not just about the paycheck. To me Work makes me happier. If youre a person
with an enthusiasm and are thinking about work, there is something you should know:
People with immense credibility who work are healthier and happier than people with
disinterest and who are unemployed.
What I presume to absorb in this internship are likely to be: Meet people and expand their social networks. Work acts as a training
opportunity to develop and improve social skills and develop friendly and
supportive relationships. The support provided by co-workers can change
someones life experience from one of isolation to one of feeling part of a
community.

Develop new skills, both work and non-work related. For example, some
individuals with disabilities become comfortable with traveling independently,
once learning to travel to and from their job.

Gain Confidence
Getting experience is a great way to build confidence. What's more, if you have an
impressive resume, you will be more confident in your chances of securing a job. After Ive
done an internship, if an interviewer asks if I know how to do something, I wont say um,
yes, I think I would be able to do that" but instead can say absolutely" and supplement my
assertion with examples.
