ABOUT MS IN ENGINEERING

The Master of Science in Engineering degree


is earned upon the successful completion of
30 graduate credits. The actual mix of core and
elective credits varies based on the emphasis
area you choose. Courses that are cross-listed in
more than one section cannot be counted twice.
(Each course 3 credits unless otherwise noted.)

Core Competencies (12 credits)
One course must be taken from each area for a
total of 12 credits. If you plan to take Applied
Statistics or Optimization with Engineering
Applications, you may want to refresh your
knowledge of integrals and derivatives.
