Subject: ENROLLMENT AND ADJUSTMENT
Greetings in St. La Salle! My name is Karla Rose Gutierrez and I am writing to you
today to ask for some leeway regarding the enrollment because of my circumstances.

1. I am currently an enrolled student with ID No. 11287780.

2. I have no failing subjects in my entire stay in DLSU College of Law and I wish
to not be penalized for having a leave of absence (LOA) by having to pay for
manual adjustment just to enroll.

3. In the light of my leave of absence during my second term in my first year in law
school (Term 2, academic year 2012-2013) because of giving birth, I mix
subjects from both the 3rd batch and 4th batch to fulfill the curriculum
requirements in the previous terms.

4. I am now enlisted as a part of Block 1 of the 3rd batch, which I do not contest.

5. I am one of the official debaters of ANC Square Off: The Firm Debates, which
starts January and which shall hold, each match on Friday. My colleague
Regine Joyce Agdon has already forwarded a letter requesting an adjustment
with Friday schedules with an attaching schedule of the ANC matches.

6. I consulted with my classmates with what their schedules are. I am proposing a

schedule keeping faithful to my block assignment but considering the subjects I
need to take and also the fact that I need to free my Fridays to represent the
College of Law.

I seek your office for a remedy either

a.)

I will allowed to enroll this online or the department will enroll this
subjects for me online or;

b.)

I will be allowed to adjust without the burden of a fee because I am not

an irregular student by reason of any failure.

I am hoping that you will consider my circumstances. I would want to reach

equilibrium in my duty as a student and also as someone who needs to represent the
DLSU College of Law. I wish for no special treatment as I have always abided the rules of
this school even during my past pregnancy. I only hope that my circumstances will be
considered in the light of policy changes in the college.
