PROPOSAL TO OFFER ENTREPRENEUSHIP, START & IMPROVE YOUR

BUSINESS (SIYB) TRAINING.

INTRODUCTION
Many Kenyans have the passion to make money through business in order to be self reliant.
The challenge has been the lack of business ideas that can be practically and viably
implemented. Therefore, it is imperative for Kenyan entrepreneurs and prospective
entrepreneurs to understand how to generate a business idea, start suitable business
initiatives, manage them, improve them and above all have suitable leadership and financial
management skills. This is necessary in order to create wealth and job opportunities.
It is on this background that we encourage business clubs/groups comprising youths, men or
women seek for support in business development and entrepreneurship. It is important to
unlock the entrepreneurship potential in them by offering them training. This will solve the
problem of unemployment and eventually lead to achieving vision 2030.
TRAINING APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY
Prior to providing our training services, we will carry out a Training Needs Assessment
(TNA) aimed at providing a better understanding of the training needs. This will also enable
the facilitators to tailor the course content to address the participants specific needs
Our facilitation process will include practical learning activities which provide a uniquely
powerful mechanism for developing participants potential in creative thinking, problem
solving, leadership and many other areas. We will make the training as simplistic and as
practical as possible using visual aids, group practical exercises and discussions, role plays
and team games to ensure that the participants grasp and are able to apply the concepts learnt.

To ensure transfer of practical lessons learnt back to the workplace, the participants will
develop and present practical action plans of how they will apply the lessons learnt from the
training in their business environment. This will ensure that we maximize on the overall
impact of the training.
