Enter the default administrator username and password, then click the login
button. This will now change the display to the Link Status display:

The Link Status screen shows the main RF properties for both local and
remote end of the microwave link. At the top of the page are the RF transmit
and receive power levels, main alarm indicators, time, date and option to log
out of the NMS.

On the left of the screen are the current operating modes for the modem in
the microwave indoor unit, including operating state, bandwidth, modulation,
line interfaces and symbol rate.
On the right of the screen are options to change the settings for all of those
parameters, and to store or restore settings.

This tab shows measures of Link Quality including errored codewords and
frames, link up and down time counters, error-free, errored, severely-errored
and unavailable seconds, and block error rate. It is possible to reset the
counters, which is normally done after the link is commissioned for example.

The Fourth tab is the Telco Lines screen which displays the status of the
E1/T1 TDM ports on the Indoor unit
The status of each E1/T1 port is shown (above is the 32-channel version) with
Loss of Signal (LOS), All-ones detect, Driver Failure Monitor (DFM). The
number of active E1/T1 ports is summarised at the top as well as the state.

The ODU status tab displays and controls key aspects of the Outdoor Unit
(ODU) for the local end of the link. On the left, the ODU status shows the
state (TX on or off), transmit power, transmit frequency, receive frequency,
IDU to ODU connectivity status, and below that specific information on the
ODU that is connected.
On the right of the screen it is possible to select various RF parameters
including transmit on/off, output power and transmit frequency.

The data that is logged here is useful for diagnosis of link performance either
at time of installation or subsequent operation. On the left, the logging
period start and end times are shown. Next, the received signal level (RSSI)
in dBm is shown. Next the demodulated received power is shown, followed by
the demodulated Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). To the right the Demodulated
frequency and Temperature are shown. Each value has Minimum, Maximum
and Average values for the monitored time period.

The Eighth tab shows the Event Log for the LC Microwave Indoor Unit
Various system log messages are shown including up/down status of the
complete microwave link.

On the final System tab, various key information on the system are shown.
On the left, the version and serial numbers are shown. Please refer to
CableFree if you would like more information about these numbers.
Below that, the network settings are shown including MAC address of local
unit, plus IP addresses of local and remote Indoor Units, and that of the
management PC which is accessing the console.
On the right, system time and date can be set. Below that, the Technician
and Status-only passwords can be set. The Technician account allows the
operator to change settings in the microwave link. The Status-only account
only allows viewing of the status.
