Rajasthan is the Land of Kings and most vibrant and colorful state of India that has multiple
tourism options and potential. The state is mostly famous for its royal past, evidence of which
can be seen from its forts, palaces and monuments that can be seen almost every part of the
state. The cities Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur are famous for the tourist all over the country or even

Amer Fort This fort is located 11 km from the city Jaipur and has numerous improvements
for the next 150 years. This fort has a total of four courtyards: 1st courtyard is known as Jaleb
Chownk which was the place for the soldiers to assemble and various parades were held here.
Second courtyard was the Diwan-Ai-Aam or the public assembles were held. The third
courtyard consists of Mughal Gardens, Tripolia gate, the lion gate and the sheesha Mahal. The
4th courtyard was the place where the Queen courtesans and other women lived. Amer fort is
the top tourist attraction in Rajasthan that has rich culture and marvelous architectural.
Mehrangarh Fort There are many famous places located within this fort like Moti Mahal
called The pearl Palace, Sheesha Mahal called The hall of Mirrors, Phool Mahal called the palace
of Flowersand and Takhat Vilas known as Maharaja Takhat Singhs Chamber.
Kumbhalgarh Fort - The fort is situated 82 kilometers northwest from the city of Udaipur
and built 1100 meters above sea level.
Jaigarh Fort This Fort is also named as Cheel Ka Teela or the hill of eagles that is situated
at 400 feet above the Amer Fort. This place is built by the Kachwaha Rajput ruler Maharaja
Sawai Jai Singh II in the year 1726.
Ranthambore Fort This fort was founded in 944 AD by the King Raja Sajraj Veer Singh
Nagil to protect his kingdom from invaders. This fort consists of various temples that have
made famous sightseeing for all people who visit Ranathambore.
Jaisalmar Fort This fort is situated on the Trikuta hill in Thar Desert and was built by Bhati
Rajput King Rao Jaisal in the year 1156 AD.
Gagron Fort This Fort is surrounded by the rivers Ahu, Kali and Sindhon three sides. Also
the fort is surrounded with the forests and the Mukundarrah range of hills giving a fort a one of
kind location.
