• General Foreman, Occidental of Elk Hills, CA. As the General Foreman responsibilities range from
delegating work assignments, maintaining manpower levels, personnel assignments, conducting safety
meetings, employee evaluations, preparing bids and quoting costs, and quality control inspections.
Incident reporting / investigating, safety compliance and enforcement, fleet inventory support and
maintenance, tool inventory reporting and procurement.
• Automation Supervisor, Occidental of Elk Hills, CA. As the Automation Supervisor responsibilities
included, working closely with engineering, and the client automation representatives. Designing
instrumentation automation telemetry installations, for six types of oil production wells, and three
types of water injection wells. Electrical and instrumentation installations on gas separation systems
in tank settings, processing controls, compressor sites, nitrogen processing plants and flair stacks.
• Supervised as Project Manager, the electrical installation of Pro-Logic conveyor systems for the
Material Handling Division of this company. In this position responsibilities were to prepare bids,
engineer electrical layouts, perform material take-offs, purchase material, tools and equipment, make
international shipping arrangements, scheduling deployment of personnel and oversee the installation
of PLC and VFD controlled conveyor systems.
• Managed the Quality Control Department, and worked as Project Manager for the material handling
Division of this Engineering Company. As the Quality Control Manager, responsibilities ranged from
Scheduling priorities and tasks to functionally testing manufactured electrical products, ensuring
Quality Control standards and NEC compliance. Inspecting workmanship, and recommending both
engineering and production changes as a result of identifying deficiencies, applying Underwriters
Laboratory Inspection and Certification procedures
• Supervised personnel in producing over 40 Sealed Gas Gauge Boards for A/C Compressor of
Appleton WI, in this ongoing three-year project. Estimated labor and material costs and purchased
materials (instrumentation, control valves, electrical switch gear and enclosures). Problem-solved
redesigned instrumentation panel to reduce vibration at instrument location.
Estimated costs, bid materials and labor, supervised a crew and worked on this analog and digital
instrumentation project in a fabrication shop under this Siemens Company contract. Worked with
Siemens engineering staff in redesigning and developing instrumentation process systems for bypass
cooling pump stations and, pump skids on hydro turbine and electrical generators. Redesigned
electrical layout of bypass stations to meet NEC code which reduced material and labor costs.
