A patient presented to the emergency room with a 1 cm laceration between his left thumb and index finger. The wound was cleaned and numbed with lidocaine before exploration, where no foreign bodies were found. Sutures were used to surgically repair the laceration, and excellent cosmetic and functional results were anticipated.

This patient presents on above tape with laceration to his left hand at the interdigital webstate space between the first and second digit on the left hand. It was infiltrated 1% Xylocaine and cleanse with a Betadine and a cotton tip. Explore for foreign bodies and which were found. Sensory vascular and motor stasus was within normal limits surgical repair was performed using 4 of 1x4. Excellent cosmetic and functional results were anticipated. IMPRESSION: 1 cm last ratio to left hand with surgical repair.
