Rio, Costa Rica Cigar Company, Los Blancos, Draw from expertise to increase presence of Brands in territories,

President of Montague Luxuries, US Distributor of Curtis Australia and Loiminchay. Introduced Curtis Australia
into the US Market. Garnered brand recognition through editorial coverage of Gala events, philanthropic endeavors,
product placement at Film Festivals, Awards Ceremonies as well as TV placement. Further enhanced brand image
through initiating licensing deal with major luxury fashion brand. Set brand strategy to expand product reach into non-
traditional outlets for writing instruments. Developed POS displays to stage product with consistent brand image. Wrote
copy for marketing and media campaigns. Set up sales force, created projections, business plans, set brand strategy.

• Developed and redesigned entire line of writing instruments and accessories to create a cohesive brand image to be
competitive and appealing to the American market.
• Redesigned three main product styles, introduced three new product families, launched first ever Limited Edition

• By end of 2008 completed transition of all existing stock into entirely new, cohesive Brand including exquisite one-
of-a-kind pieces of solid gold and diamonds resulting in “Best of The Best” Award from Robb Report and other
accolades.
• Completely redesigned marketing/catalog, created new POS further consolidating brand image. These efforts
combined with the total redesign of brand and exposure gained resulted in high demand for Brand in other
Countries with multiple requests for distributorship agreements throughout Europe, Asia and Middle East.

National Sales Director for Fine Writing, Inc. the US distributor of Visconti writing instruments. Catapulted brand’s
visibility through product placement at the SAG Awards, SOHO House during the Oscars, the BET Awards, Six Feet
Under and my connections with Hollywood Foreign Press. Established new sales force, analyzed business history,
created projections, created the first Business Plan for this company in its seven year history.
• Analyzed 26% drop in sales for previous year, immediately implemented Customer Service/Product Quality
response, changed company ship policies, personally visited all regional and national Accounts, attended consumer
trade shows and events resulting in an increase of 136% in sales within the first 9 months.
• Added, trained and motivated sales reps; utilized connections in Hollywood to gain Brand exposure, continued to
tweak company policies towards a customer-friendly/quality based philosophy resulting in an additional 26%
increase in sales for the second year.

National Sales Director for Omas, USA writing instruments. Analyzed business history; created projections, business
and marketing plan adopted by LVMH. Established new after sales service, created/ran interim distribution system,
facilitated integration into LVMH Watch & Jewelry.
• Presented OMAS to Saks Fifth Avenue resulting in selection as Premier writing instrument to be featured in 45 of
their new “Home Store” departments Nationwide.
• Visited new and existing accounts resolving outstanding customer/quality issues, qualified accounts, informed
retailers and consumers about renovation of factory and investments in marketing/media/POS to increase
support/address outstanding issues resulting in dedicated retail network and reinvigorated consumer base.
