Title Buckle and respirator using such buckle, having a deformable cinch bar, and method
Abstract Buckle and respirators having such buckles. The buckle has a movable cinch bar allowing a strap
to be inserted into and be secured by the buckle by opening the cinch bar and inserting the strap.
The cinch bar then returns to a closed position and supports the strap over the cinch bar. The
cinch bar may be deformable through the use of a living hinge connecting the cinch bar to the
body of the buckle. The cinch bar may be split into two members, each being deformably coupled
to the buckle body, perhaps with living hinges.

Title Digital orthodontic appliance coupling matrix
Abstract A digital orthodontic treatment planning system provides a practitioner with digital representations
of at least a part of a tooth of a patient and at least part of a coupling matrix within a three-
dimensional environment. By interacting with the system, orthodontic practitioners are able to
visualize a coupling matrix that results from a specific orthodontic appliance position relative to
a tooth of the patient’s dental arch. The digital representation of the coupling matrix represents
a substance, such as a cured adhesive, that connects an orthodontic appliance to a tooth of
a patient. The system determines a thickness of at least a portion of the coupling matrix. In
one embodiment, the system indicates the total thickness via a thickness map, such as a color-
coded thickness map. In another embodiment, the system indicates a deviation from a baseline
thickness via a thickness map.

Title Methods of manufacturing an adhesive precoated orthodontic appliance
Abstract Methods of manufacturing an adhesive precoated orthodontic appliance are carried out by
determining a quantity of the adhesive that is representative of a norm for bonding a particular
appliance to a tooth that is representative of a patient population. An electronic template is
provided to an orthodontic practitioner that includes data representing the norm. The practitioner
may then elect to instruct the manufacturer to ship the selected appliance to the practitioner with
a quantity of adhesive pre-applied to the appliance that differs from the determined norm.

Title Narrow ceramic self-ligating orthodontic bracket
Abstract A ceramic orthodontic bracket has a centrally located clip for retaining an archwire in an archwire
slot. The body of the bracket includes a mesial section, a distal section, and a bridge section,
wherein the bridge section extends through, and retains, the clip. The bridge section also includes
a recess adjacent to the bridge section that facilitates debonding of the bracket from a patient’s
tooth. Preferably there are gaps on one or both sides of the clip to allow space for debonding
of the bracket by applying a mesial-distal compressive force on the bracket and fracturing the
bracket along the recess. This configuration allows the overall mesial-distal width of the bracket
to be reduced, thereby facilitating the bonding of brackets to narrow and/or maloccluded teeth.
Another embodiment includes a stop member that is connected to the base of the bracket and
retains the clip on the bridge section.

Abstract The disclosure describes vapor permeable retroreflective material for use on protective garments.
The material may be formed in a non-continuous pattern that provides a high-level of

retroreflective regions and non-retroreflective regions arranged such that thermal decay through
the protective garment is not substantially decreased in the regions corresponding to the
retroreflective material. Rather, vapor permeation and thermal decay through the garment may
be substantially the same as if the retroreflective material was not present.

Title Articles and methods including patterned substrates formed from densified, adhered metal
powders
Abstract In general the disclosure relates to manufacturing methods for producing conductive patterns on
flexible substrates. For example, a layer of a metal powder composition is deposited onto an
adhesive overlaying a substrate. Pressure is applied to the metal powder composition on the
adhesive coated substrate web by a die having one or more projections, in order to reproduce a
pattern on the substrate. The metal powder is compressed by the projections of the die, thereby
densifying the powder and causing it to adhere to the adhesive in a reproduction of the die pattern.
The metal powder does not adhere substantially in uncompressed regions, and may be removed.
In this manner, a metal powder composition may be densified and adhered to a substrate forming
a web of flexible circuit elements, for example, circuit elements such as antennas, resistors,
capacitors, inductive coils, conduction pads and the like.
