2.7-Schedule display:
The ABACUS flight schedule system it provides the user detailed information. It is so detailed that
even a slight change of any part of the flight.
City pair schedule displays show scheduled flights for participating carriers without regard for

2.11-Levels of participation:
There are basically four levels of participation for the airlines, which have agreements with ABACUS
to display their availability in the system. An airline may participate is more than one level.
The four levels of participation for the airline agreements with ABACUS system are:
1-Full Availability (0)
2-Answer Back (AB)
3-Direct Connect Sell (DC)
4-Direct Connect Availability (DCA)
1- Full Availability:
This is the lowest level of participation that airlines may choose to participate with ABACUS.
1- Teletype message is sent to airline upon ET of the PNR. The airline will not respond with the Secondary
RLOC is returned.
2- The airline has 12 hrs may cancel the segment, without supporting reasons. However after the first
12hrs, the airline should honour the booking made. If the segment is cancelled after the first 12hs,
the reasons should be given and such cancellations will be returned to the agent as a HX or US status code.

5- Direct Access Availability Display:
Basic Functionalities Guide
The agents will need to access to the airlines database directly to make bookings in order to ensure that
their seats are guaranteed.
1-The agents must do a Direct Access availability display.
2-The agents sell seats entry must be transmitted within 3 minutes of availability display.
3-The agent must do an end transaction on the PNR within 30 Minutes

4.4-Seat map display:
Before specific seat reservations can be made to the airline, a seating display must be made.
You can display a seat map by flight number or Itinerary segment number.
Seat map display allows you to determine which seats are available and may be requests.
However, seat map request are not valid on all carriers and all response may differ from carrier.
