Personal Statement
I am 17 years old and currently entering my second year of sixth form having completed my AS
levels. Im eager to start developing other skills away from my school work. I take pride in my
appearance and convey myself in a professional manner. I prioritise helping others.

Through working in the fast food industry I have gained multiple

skills that can be applied to other situations including the
following:

I am able to adapt to a wide range of positions and situations as requested by members of staff, promptly but efficiently changing tasks.

I have developed decision making skills in prioritising situations and completing tasks to a high standard within a
given time period.

Work Experience
November 2014 - Current

Working as a team was necessary, I am able to work as

part of team. Likewise, I am able to work independently
when resources are not available, when there is a higher
work load and in general.

Punctuality and appearance are assessed constantly, I

have always ensured that Im in work on time and allow
for any possible traffic. I believe that it is important to
carry yourself in a professional manner.

HYM Media
Lancaster & Morecambe

As part of a work experience scheme, I joined HYM Media for a

week in late February 2013. My role at HYM included website
design and development, providing clients with creative website
solutions for their businesses and organisations.

The nature of the company meant that different areas of

the business had to communicate with one another to
create a group solution based on client specification. I
was able to communicate what tasks were left to do,
what had been completed and any issues that arose with
the end product.

I had to meet deadlines as to start with new client orders

and developed my ability to manage a task and achieve a
product that both fitted the clients needs but also
worked for the time frame given.

At the end of the week, I was asked to stay on for a further

seven days in which I developed communications skills with
clients through speaking to them in person and over the phone
or through email.

Hobbies and Interests

Away from school I enjoy photography and walking. I think it is important to have some time away
from work and relax ready to start again. I've recently gotten into video and photo production; I
enjoy taking pictures and I think it really compliments my other interest - walking and travelling.
