Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1. Briefly describe the field

experience. What did you learn about
technology facilitation and leadership
from completing this field experience?

I served as the technology co-chair

for the PD committee. It was my
teams job to design professional
learning sessions based upon ways
that technology could support the
school in accomplishing its goals

2. How did this learning relate to the

knowledge (what must you know),
skills (what must you be able to do)
and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology
facilitator or technology leader?
(Refer to the standards you selected in
Part I. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect
on all 3knowledge, skills, and
dispositions.)
While much of what a technology coach
does consists of small group or one on
one coaching it also has a lot to do with

and evaluate digital tools

and resources for accuracy,
suitability, and
compatibility with the
school technology
infrastructure. (PSC
3.6/ISTE 3f)

large group presentation. I learned

during this experience that from large
group presentations you are better able
to identify the people who could benefit
the most from small group or one on one
coaching.

3. Describe how this field experience

impacted school improvement, faculty
development or student learning at
your school. How can the impact be
assessed?
Serving on the professional development
committee has given me the opportunity
to better hone my ability to work with
teachers and support their goals of
technology integration. Ive had to
consider their content, students, and skill
level to do so. This give me an
increasing knowledge when working
with other in the future.
