Description
The BTR-1.0 tubing retrievable gas lift mandrels are made up as an integral part of the production tubing when preparing a well for gas lift, chemical injection, or other special applications. This mandrel utilizes 1.0 inch flow control devices. If the mandrel is used in gas lift operations, it is designed to be used
with injection pressure operated gas lift valves.
These mandrels are designed with a long tapered upper lug and lower pressure lug to facilitate mandrel passage during installation and removal from the well. Side guards plates are welded to the up per
lug and mandrel body. This design provides protection and containment for flow control equipment and
prevents damage to the equipment during installation or removal from the well.
The BTR-1.0 tubing retrievable gas lift mandrels are available in J55, N80 and L80 grade material.

Application/Operation

the flow enters through the ports of the flow control

device, down through the pressure lug and into the
mandrel through it's ports that are communicated
with the tubing.

The flow control device is installed by threading

it into the 1/2 inch NPT pressure lug located at the
bottom of the mandrel. For tubing flow operations,
