Settings

ThefifthtaboftheAdminDashboardgivesyoutheoptionstotogglecertainfeaturesonoroff.These
featuresinclude:
1. PreventautomaticassociationofanyuserwithinyourIPrange.
IfthisoptionistickedasOn,youruserswillnotbeautomaticallyassociatedwithyour
institution.Iftheiraccountistobeassociatedwithyourinstitution,theadministratorofthe
accountwillneedtosendanassociationcodetotheuserinorderforthemtobeabletouse
theirSpringerLinkorSpringerforR&Daccountremotely.
2. Forceuserstologinbeforedownloadingfulltextcontent.
Thisoptionshouldonlybedonewhenyouhavetocollectextrainformationabouttheusage.By
enforcingtheloginyouwillbeabletocollectinformationlikecostcenterordepartmentto
facilitatechargingbacktothesedepartmentsorfaculties.
3. Displayawarningnotificationbeforedownloadingfulltextcontentifyouhaveadeposit
basedcontract.
Ifyourorganizationhasadepositbasedcontract,thisoptioncanbeusedtoinformusersthat
theirdownloadwillbechargedtothedepositaccount.
4. DisplayanOrderfromMyLibraryformforunsubscribedcontent.

TurningontheswitchorderfrommylibrarywillprovideabuttonontheGetAccess
pagethatwillallowlibraryuserstorequestanarticleorchapter,viaemail,totheir
librarian.Alladminswillbenotifiedofallrequestsfortheirorganization.Administrators
mayswitchoffthisfunctioneasilybypushingtheswitchtotheleftifrequested.
