PROCEDURES:
PREPARATION:
* For the daily routine, ask one of the students for the opening prayer.
* After the opening prayer, check the daily attendance.
* Conduct a stretching activity for 3minutes.
* Review Ask the students if they know how to play badminton. Tell them to
relate to the class their experiences and how they learned to play.
PRESENTATION:
* Let the students render a report on the brief history and development of
badminton.
*Show the materials used in playing badminton.
* Conduct a pretest to determine the level of skills the students have before
they undergo the new lesson.
* Introduce the skills one by one and let the student try the skills.
* Divide the class into groups. Assign one leader and let them practice by
group. Give ample time for practice. In this strategy select the leaders based
on the results of the pretest. Let them give some instructions.
*Discus the rules of the game, create some game situations and let the
students discuss and make some conclusions.
* Let a pair of students play. Let the rest of the class observe and jot down
their observations. Have a discussion after the game.
* Divide the class into pairs and conduct a single elimination game. Modify
the scoring system a player that makes five points wins the set. Allow the
player one set each game. Enjoy the manifestation of honesty,
sportsmanship, and the spirit of brotherhood.
EVALUATION:
Administer a written test and a practical test by partners.
