H3C Conventional Networking Solution
Ideal for hotels with over 300 guestrooms, with legacy network and/or newly
opened hotels
H3Cs solution consists of two S7500E switches with dual 10G connections in the
networks core providing high network availability. They are interconnected with
edge layer switches, S3100-EI on different floors by dual 1G connections providing
network resilience. In addition, H3Cs Intelligent Management Centre (iMC) is a
unified management solution for switch and wireless network management.

H3C IPTV Networking Solution

Tailored for in-room pay-TV services
The network infrastructure consists of two S7500E switches at the core with dual-link connections
to edge switches S3100-EI on each floor and two video content delivery switches, S5500-EI for
switching the video sources from multiple channels by content providers. The edge layer switches
supports multicasting for delivering IPTV service to each hotel guestroom. It also provides a unified
management platform for monitoring the whole network.

Consists of Wireless LAN (WLAN) Controller, WX5002 or S6103 series switches with dual
gigabit connections to backbone switches providing network resilience. H3C S3100-EI edge layer
switches with Power over Ethernet (PoE) on each floor for power supply to FIT wireless Access
Points (AP)-WA2100 and WA2200 in A/B/G/N mode providing wireless service to guests and in
the public areas of the hotel. The Intelligent Management Centre (iMC) integrates with wireless
service module to enable wireless AP and controller management.
