Mission/Purpose:
In line with our churchs mission to reach people, we serve our church
in all technological aspects to bring the love of Christ to people both in
our church and outside of its walls. Were here to provide the visual
and audio components of the service: the overhead projection,
recording the service, controlling the sound board, and running videos.
Were so excited that youve decided to join us in this important and
growing ministry!

Rules/Expectations:
Be held accountable to Pastor Nate as the overseeing pastor
o If you feel that working upstairs is getting in the way of your time
with God, please inform us so that we can give you some time
off. We strive to serve the church to the best of our abilities,
which involves functioning at our highest level physically,
mentally, and spiritually. It doesnt make you any less valuable to
the Media Team and the church because you need a break, and
please dont be timid about letting us know.
Attend your assigned services and rehearsals. Please inform the team
leaders (Jon, Jared, Brianne, or Pastor Nate) if you have commitments
that require schedule changes, as a replacement will need to be found
and notified in advance.
o Team members will be notified of their assigned services and
rehearsals via PlanningCenterOnline. The Worship Team
rehearses the Thursday before that Sunday at 6:30pm, and at
7:30am on that Sunday morning. Kindle practices at 4pm on the
scheduled Sunday afternoon.
Be at the church by 7:20am on Sunday morning to rehearse. If you will
be late, please notify us in advance so that someone else can be there
to turn on the equipment.
You are required to have some form of reliable transportation. We ask
that you have either a valid Drivers license or have saved parents to
drive you to your scheduled rehearsals and services.
No one does both a Sunday morning and U-Turn service (or a morning,
and be in Kindle at night).
o This isnt to be mean everyone needs time to be in worship
service, and be in the service for the sermon. The Media Team
needs to be spiritually right with God, and that requires continual
growth, which can only happen when youve spent time in the
Word, and in worship.

Everyone should be trained on every piece of equipment up there. Like
at a grocery store. Pastor Nate
o We expect that you will eventually be able to operate every piece
of equipment our church owns without supervision. This will
make you an invaluable tool not
only on Sunday mornings, but at U-Turn, during special services,
on Wednesday nights and maybe even in other church ministries
(such as Kids Church). This also allows us to easily re-arrange
scheduling conflicts, because we can call on you to help out in an
empty position with ease. Some of the things youll be able to do
eventually: run EasyWorship songs and Scriptures; record the
sermon on CD; run the soundboard for the band and whomever
is speaking; run the video switcher; run the lighting equipment
(including the spotlights); and queue up videos using the TV
monitor.
