ABOUT YWAM
WHAT IS THE YP DTS?
The Young Peoples DTS trains, disciples,
equips and mobilises young people into
missions. We are committed to facilitate the
fulfillment of your vision, dreams and
ambitions in the Lord and in the nations of the
earth. The school is aimed specifically at 17-25
year olds and runs every year in January.
LECTURE PHASE (PERTH)
Three months of lecture phase which is all
about personal application of truth and
“YP DTS”
response to the character of God. Topics
include Character of God, Forgiveness and
Re p e n t a n c e , E v a n g e l i s m , L o r d s h i p,
Relationships and the Father Heart of God.
Every week there is a different speaker sharing
on a topic through lectures and application
times. Other activities include worship,
intercession, sports, work duties and lots of
adventures in the city.

OUTREACH (MEXICO CITY)
Then it is three months of outreach where we
head out into the nations to make Jesus known “DTS is the best
through evangelism, discipleship, church thing since denim”
ministry, worship, intercession, community -YP DTS Students
development, music and drama/dance. The
school is focused, dynamic and
transformational. Read on to hear of personal

Heyho people! Whatsupp? Its been a
month and a week since I arrived here
in Perth. Time flies so fast. A lot of
stuffs is happening in my life. Getting
kicked out from the comfort zone.
Living with the whole 50 people class
in one dorm, different personalities,
dif ferent way of doing things,
sometimes the people that you really
don’t want to be in one house with, god
will put them to live together with you.
I really learn a lot here, not just from
the lecture time in the class, but from
the daily life with people here.
Learning what familyness is about.
Valuing people as they are, being real
to each other, even doing their dishes
and cleaning the house together.
God is doing so much epic stuffs over
my life. Ripping off my insecurities,
pride, fear about what people gonna
think about me, fear about my future,
unbelief, doubt about god. He shows
me what life supposed to be, freedom,
eternal security, life of being loved by
the creator of this universe, the
beginning and the end of this whole
life.
And yeahh the super exciting thing is
MEXICO CITY dude! ahoyy. We all
gonna fly in around april i think. Be
there for 3 months. Telling the world
what god has done in our life! Work
with local church there, doing outreach
in the city. Seeing the broken-hearted
feel the love of god. Seeing the people
got a purpose in life. Giving them a
never ending hope and love. Seeing the
city transformed!
Each of us gonna need around AUD
5000 to fly there with accommodation
and stuffs. Some of us already got the
money, some of us haven’t got the
money yet. So we gonna do some
fundraising here in the city, doing
carwash, basking maybe, selling cakes,
and some other fundraising ideas
comin up. I really believe that god will
provide it all. It’s a challenge for me
personally too to really trust in him
financially. I never been in this kinda
position before, usually my parents just
give me all the money that I need. But
not this time! Haha. I will trust god and
see how he gonna provide me about
this.
It will be really sweet if you guys can
partner with me in doing this for god.
