Goals
My short term goals is to complete my last semester of my Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of
Information Technology degree at USQ.
My long term goals over the next 3 to 5 years is to get a job in the IT industry, and work up my work
experience. My most desired section of the IT industry to get into is web development, but would be
more than happy to work just in a general IT job in the meantime.
Another goal that I have over my working career is to start my own small business. I am unsure as to
what this business would be, but my love of cooking as well as IT would probably lead me towards
purchasing a restaurant.

Competencies
Throughout my Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of IT degree at USQ, and the first year of my
Bachelor of Information Technology: Professional Practice degree at University of Ballarat, I have
learnt many different skills. They are as follows

Programming in Python, C++, Visual Basic, Haskell and Prolog

Database Management with Microsoft Access and MySQL
Web Development with HTML, HTML5, PHP, and SQL

Current Degree
My current degree, for which I am in the last semester, is the Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of
Information Technology.
Because this is a double degree, I am majoring in two areas; Information Technology Management
for the Business major, and Applied Computer Science for the IT Major
