1. Study the following statement carefully/ kaji penyataan berikut dengan teliti.
A teacher asks Ah Chong to measure the length of the classroom by using two ways, which are
(1) using footstep and (2) using a measuring tape. The activity is repeated three times. However,
Ah Chong noticed that the measurement obtained through the first way is not accurate compared
to the second way
Seorang guru menyuruh Ah Chong mengukur panjang bilik darjah dengan menggunakan dua
kaedah, (1) menggunakan tapak kaki dan (2) menggunakan pita pengukur. Aktiviti ini diulang
sebanyak tiga kali. Walaubagaimanapun, Ah Chong menyedari bahawa pengukuran yang

Humans have various types of cells which carry out specialized functions. Cells specialization
allows human to perform various life processes efficiently.
Manusia mempunyai pelbagai jenis sel yang menjalankan fungsi-fungsi yang tertentu.
Pengkhususan sel membenarkan manusia menjalankan pelbagai proses kehidupan dengan
lebih berkesan.
Write the discussion about the statement based on the following aspects/
tulis perbincangan mengenai pernyataan berikut berdasarkan aspek berkenaan:
(a) specialisation of cells in human/ pengkhususan sel dalam manusia.
(b) effect that may arise if our body does not possess cell specialisation./kesan yang akan
berlaku sekiranya badan kita tidak mempunyai pengkhususan sel.
(c)why human being is a complex organism?/mengapakah manusia ialah organisma yang
kompleks?
Answer/jawapan:
(a)
- there are more than 200 different types of cells in the human body
- cells have different shapes and structures to carry out different functions.these cells are called
specialized cell
- specialized cells are adapted to carry out a special function
- example: reproductive cells enable humans to produce offspring.
-example: white blood cells destroy bacteria that enter the body and protect the body from
infections.
(b)
human beings cannot carry out life processes well to form systems that are complete and
perfect
-example: human beings not able to respire if there is no red blood cells to transport oxygen to
all cells in the body
(c)
-human beings are complex organisms (have different types of cells which are organized into
tissues, organs, systems)
-example: human brains enables us to speak, reason, create and perform many specialized
functions.
-Example: human brains enable us to distinguish between right and wrong actions.
-Examples : humans are able to create technologies and invent devices to overcome their
limitations
