SPECIAL TARIFF VOUCHERS (STV)
Updated on 12.09.2014
Boosters are hereby renamed as Special Tariff Vouchers which are attached to different plans, tariff for different items and
validity period. The prepaid customers are allowed to use more than one STV at a time subject to the conditions stipulated here
below. The available STVs have been grouped as Group-I (General), Group-II (Local/ STD Voice), Group-III (Rate Cutter & Volume
based SMS), [Group-IV GPRS (currently withdrawn)] and Group-V.

BSNL Customers can use maximum of 7 STVs simultaneously.

(One STV each from Group I, II, III and 4 STVs from Group-V at a time)

* SMS Activation:

Customer has to send SMS key word as Roam5 or Roam33 (depending upon their requirement) to 53733 for
activation.
On receiving this request, if any Group I booster already available for the customer, then the customer will be
intimated with an SMS Dear customer, Group1STV is already active with validity DD-MM-YY. Activating Roam
(5or 33) will deactivate Group1STV.Pl confirm with Roam5Cor Roam33C to proceed."
If the customer wishes to retain the already activated STV as above, customer need not send the confirmation
SMS as described above.

If no Group I booster is activated then the request will be processed as usual.

All other terms and conditions will remain same.

CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF MULTIPLE STVs

For STVs in Group-I General
1.

The customer can use maximum of one STV from the group at a time.

2. Customer is not barred from using a second STV from the same group. However, if he uses a second STV from the same
group, the new STV activated will override the existing STV in operation and the validity for the new STV is counted from the
date of activation of the new STV.

Can use *124# to know the STV validity.

For STV s in Group-II- unlimited Local/ STD voice.

2. If he uses a second STV from the same group and if the validity of the earlier STV is higher, then the higher validity of the
earlier STV will be maintained.

For STVs in Group III Rate Cutter & Volume based SMS STVs
1.

The customer can use maximum of one STV from the group at a time.

2. Customer is not barred from using a second STV from the same group. However, if he uses a second STV from the same
group, the new STV activated will override the existing STV in operation and the validity for the new STV is counted from the
date of activation of the new STV

On expiry of STV validity, balance SMS if any will be nullified.

4. However, if customer uses any other SMS STV in the same group within the existing validity period.of the existing SMS
STV Balance SMS will be carried forward

5. Upto one hundred SMS per SIM per day, the SMS charges will be as per the plan/STV subscribed by the customer; and
beyond 100 SMS per SIM per day, the SMS charges will be as per the plan or 50 paise per SMS whichever is more.
7. For the customers who have subscribed to any volume based SMS STVs(prepaid), upto 100 SMS per SIM per day will be free
and beyond that the SMS charges will be as per the plan or 50 paise per SMS whichever is more.

Note: Group IV GPRS STVs are withdrawn currently

For STVsin Group-V-ISD STVs.
All 4 ISD STVs will work in parallel (also in parallel with existing STVs in other groups). (For example: If customers activate both
STV41 and STV27 simultaneously, then they can enjoy both Rs.1.49/Min for Group A countries and Rs.2.99/Min for Group B
countries and so on).
Customer can use *124*2# to know the information about ISD STV & its
validity

Other General information

The following days are called Black out days (for the year 2014). i. e Not eligible for all concessional / free ---SMS / Voice
facility on these days including using STV.

If Blackout days fall during the validity period of STV, then the validity period will not be extended for these days.
On net denotes BSNL network & Off net denotes others network.
The UV means Usage Value and the usage value will be added in the main account of the customers.
