tad viddhi praiptena

paripranena sevay

Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual

master. Inquire from him submissively and render
service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart
knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth.
[Bhagavad-gita 4.34]

aha kratur aha yaja

svadhham aham auadham
mantro 'ham aham evjyam
aham agnir aha hutam

It is I who am the ritual, I the sacrifice, the offering to

the ancestors, the healing herb, the transcendental
chant. I am the butter and the fire and the offering.
[Bhagavad-gita 9.16]

tad-vijnrtha sa gurum
evbhigacchet
samit-pi rotriya brahma-niham

To understand these things properly, one must humbly

approach, with firewood in hand, a spiritual master who
is learned in the Vedas and firmly devoted to the
Absolute Truth. [Muaka Upaniad 1.2.12]

man-man bhava mad-bhakto

mad-yj m namaskuru

Always think of Me and become My devotee. Worship

Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will
come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you
are My very dear friend. [Bhagavad-gita 18.65]

sarva-dharmn parityajya
mm eka araa vraja
aha tv sarva-ppebhyo

Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto

Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not
fear. [Bhagavad-gita 18.66]

nai tarkea matir paney

proktnyenaiva su-jnya preha

This realization, my dear boy, cannot be acquired by

logic. It must be spoken by an exceptionally qualified
spiritual master to a knowledgeable disciple. [Kaha
