1 Background
In C.S0087-A v 3.0, the feature of enhanced idle reselection from eHRPD to E-UTRAN based on
reselection class and probability test has been included, the related test cases with this feature
shall also be included in the C.S0095.
2 Proposed Text
The proposed test case 1 is described below.
2.5.x Enhanced Non-optimized Dormant eHRPD to Idle E-UTRAN System Reselection-Bitmap
Mode without execution of probability test
2.5.x.1 Definition
This test case verifies the Bitmap Mode-based enhanced idle reselection procedure defined in
[2]. The eAT is also required to perform priority based system reselection procedure by
complying with the algorithm for system reselection as defined in [2].

2. RAN3 is E-UTRAN
b. Ensure there is no E-UTRAN available.
c. The eAT should have a previously established session on RAN1. The eAT has negotiated
a value of 0x03 for the ReselectionClass attribute with eHRPD RAN.
d. Ensure the eAT is Idle with no PPP session on RAN1.
e. Set up a mobile originated data call on RAN1. Ensure that the mobile is in Connected
State and the PPP session is active.
f.
Ensure the eAT to transition to the dormant PPP state and air interface Idle State.
j.
m. Verify the call is successful and the eAT can send/receive data using the E-UTRAN
network.
n. Adjust the RF on RAN3 so that RAN3 is not available by the eAT.
o. Verify the eAT acquires RAN1. Ensure the eAT is Idle with no PPP session on RAN1.
p. Change the ReselectionClassBitmap field to 0xF7 (11110111). Ensure the eAT can
acquire all the above information from OtherRATNeighborList message.
q. Adjust the RF on RAN3 so that its signal strength is good enough to be acquired by the
eAT and wait 60 seconds.
r.
Verify the call is successful and the eAT can send/receive data using the eHRPD
network.
