During this lesson, the students will work in the comprehension of literary works; we will discuss the important aspects of literary
movements.
The students will engage in critical thinking activities through out the lesson, and demonstrate understanding of the author's
purpose.

Summary:
This unit has emphasis on the literary work of Colombian writer, Gabriel Garca Mrquez. The students will learn about his life
(biography), his works (bibliography), and will also learn about the Realismo Mgico (literary movement), which is very popular
amongst Hispanic writers. It is also meant to enrich their geographical knowledge of the continent they live in.
