The World

1 John 2:15-17 “Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not
in him. For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the
world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of Elohiym abideth for ever.”
Not yielding to the love of Elohiym, meekness, trying to be spiritual.

James 4:4 “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with Elohiym? whosoever therefore
will be a friend of the world is the enemy of Elohiym.”
We should not want to be fellowshipping with them, making friends with them. To be quickened to who we are dealing with.

1 Corinthians 2:12 “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of Elohiym; that we might know the
things that are freely given to us of Elohiym.”
The spirit of the world: There’s a certain spirit to them that have their affections on the earth – They mind earthly things. (“Whose end
[is] destruction, whose Elohiym [is their] belly, and [whose] glory [is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.” Philippians 3:19)
- their efforts to building up the world
/ Forsaking all: the attitude we have: We will move on whenever Elohiym wills.
- Trying to be yielded to El / or wanting to get settled.

1 Corinthians 4:9 “For I think that Elohiym hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a
spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.”
The people of El stand out to the world.

1 Corinthians 4:13 “Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, [and are] the offscouring of all things unto this
day.”
The world calls evil good, and good evil. (Isaiah 5:20) They see those seeking to do El’s will as base.

Isaiah 59:15 “Yea, truth faileth; and he [that] departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and Yahveh saw [it], and it displeased him
that [there was] no judgment.”

Matthew 18:7 “Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the
offence cometh!”
It is the world that brings offenses – those of the world, those of the spirit of the world, those whose affections are on the world—
persecute His disciples.

James 1:27 “Pure religion and undefiled before Elohiym and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,
[and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
We shouldn’t allow the world to defile us. We should hate those things (lust, pride, etc.).

2 Peter 1:4 “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
How we can actually partake of the divine nature – escaping out of the world. It is something to really be glad about – that Elohiym is
trying to draw us out of the world.
Pray that our desire would be to escape. It should be a cause of great rejoicing to have this chance to get out of it.

Titus 2:11,12 “For the grace of Elohiym that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and
worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”
Something El has made available to us. It is not as false christians say that we have to wallow in the mire. We can live righteously in
this present world through His grace.

1 John 5:19 “[And] we know that we are of Elohiym, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”
Pray we can be quickened to this (that the world is lying in wickedness). Their dishonesty, bitterness, pride, etc. World going further
and further toward wickedness. – It should be our desire to lean more and more about how to live right. The world has it down pat
how to do evil. Evil men and seducers waxing worse and worse. (2 Timothy 3:13) Some of us may not be quickened to the evil that
is in the world. Years ago, people were ashamed of being a Sodomite, now they’re not ashamed.

Galatians 6:14 “But Elohiym forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of Adoneynu Yeshua ha Mashiyach, by whom the world is
crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”
Paul, an enemy of the world, and the world an enemy of him. A true servant of El: the world will not get along with it. (“For do I
now persuade men, or Elohiym? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Mashiyach.”
Galatians 1:10) We should not want to have anything to do with it.
2 Timothy 4:10 “For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to
Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.”
Demas loved this present world – It is very possible that he would not have admitted that he loved the world. Souls who were once
with us –

Consider in our heart if we love it, or if we are desiring to get away from it. It is wickedness. It is not going to get better. If we have
a thought of wanting to be a part of it, should make us fear. – The world will take the mark. Only hope is to keep eyes set on Elohiym.
Yahveh is going to shake His kingdom until all that remain are those who love Him with all the heart, soul, mind, strength. Those
who will be able to reamin are those who do not love the world, who do not want to have anything to do with it.
In a dream, a seducing spirit came into our midst and asked, Who wants to commit adultery with the world? Some said they did.
(Those who depart and have fellowship with the world.) Sin knocking on people’s doors – them opening up to it – not quickened to
the pay day. May He keep us to hate unrighteousness, not want to be any partaker of it.
