INTRODUCTION

The primary focus of this website has always been that of providing
information concerning the foundations and basics of Rife Technology in
the sincere hopes the user/experimenter/investigator will be encouraged
to explore further and even help develop the technologies.
I, like so many other persons got started with the basic "Blaster5"
program. While it was certainly easy to use .. it was limited but the price
was definitely right. (free).
Over the next few articles we shall attempt to suggest various method by
which even the most novice of users can participate, construct, and
educate ourselves with handson experience, in this remarkable if not
suppressed science.
Don't let the general (tongueincheek) title "Poor Man's Rife" fool you.
Even though we are going to work on an "empty pocket budget" ... we
should come up with a working device that will rival devices sold for one
to several thousand dollars. [Unfortunately it is true but by the time you
get thru this series of articles ... you will understand enough about the
technology that you shouldn't EVER get "burned" on any product you
eventually decided to purchase or build.]

POVERTY THE INSPIRATION OF INNOVATION

AND RESOURCEFULNESS
Sometimes "lacking funds" can be the inspiration that is needed to find
"innovative" ways to accomplish your tasks. Rather than do without, I
searched for tools to accomplish what I wanted to do as well as help some
others that I knew were looking in the same direction with the same
"financial limitations". I had but 3 criteria when I began.
FIRST ... it had to be FREE !
SECOND ... it had to be EASY ! (both to install AND operate)
THIRD ... it needed to be able to use just about any sound card.

I believe I succeeded in solving MY immediate needs .. and I hope it may

be either the solution or at least the inspiration you need to help with your
specific RIFE project.

First I decided on 2 pieces of software. There were many

reasons for selection of these 2 particular pieces but the
main reasons were that they were FREEWARE rather than
Shareware. I selected NCH Tone Generator (by NCH
SwiftSound www.nch.com.au )
WinAmp (by NullSoft, Inc. www.winamp.com )
Both pieces of software are readily available for download
from either my site or almost ANY shareware/freeware
archive. Get them both and install them. (As you will see
the files are relatively small ... installation is quick and very
easy !!!)

FREQUENCY LIST
As long as you are in downloading mode .... get yourself a copy of Brian
McInturff's "Big List" more often referred to as "The Consolidated
Annotated Frequency List" or just "CAFL".
http://www.mindspring.com/~turf/alt/elec/cfl.htm or he has other lists
and links at
http://www.mindspring.com/~turf/alt/elec/freqlist.htm
(There are other lists out there ... these just seem to be MY favorites.)

Either view his "big list" online or on a downloaded/local copy on your

machine. Select your "affliction de jour" ... for example I have selected
"Rheumatoid Arthritis".
"Arthritis, rheumatoid (Cause could be bacteria like chlamydia
pneumonia, mycoplasma fermentans, or dental bacteria which must
be addressed too. Also try General antiseptic and Parasites
roundworms general if no response.) 250, 1.2, 650, 625, 600, 787,
727, 262, 776"

TONE GENERATOR
Using the NCH Tone Generator Software
we will generate a small wave file for each
of these frequencies. Our first frequency
will be "250". Make sure you set the
"Wave Form" selector to "Square Wave".

With your target frequency,

(250), entered in the appropriate
box, select "Save As". A box will
pop up prompting with a
filename and duration in
seconds. the default naming
notation will be something like
"sq250.wav". I use the default
10 seconds.

Note: The Tone generator program will allow you to enter the frequency to
be generated to three decimal places. Since periods are not typically
allowed within the windows filename, I recommend substituting a "" or "_"
in its place so that you maintain an accurate record of your recording.
Go ahead and record your other frequencies as well. I constructed a folder
named "RArthtitis" and dragged ALL of the WAV files over into that folder.
I recommend making a separate folder for each "affliction" you intend to
experiment with. These folders can be placed in any logical place you wish
and you can close all these windows and programs down.

Once you have the frequencies recorded like this, you need only use the
Tone Generator program to build new wave files.

As you should be able to see now .. you have your generated frequencies
recorded in a digital format that is easy to play, copy, manipulate, even
record to audio (or data) CD, cassette tape, MP3 players .... your
imagination is the limit ! ..... but for now .. we are going to just "play" them
on our sound card !

PLAYING THE
SOUND
Open the WinAmp
application you installed
earlier. Select "ADD"
(bottom left), then "ADD
DIR", ...select your
"affliction folder" and then
"OK".

You are now ready to press the PLAY

Icon (>) on the top module.
DO IT !!!!
I think you will quickly see the feature rich versatility of this little program,
allowing you to add folders, individual files, sort, etc. You can repeat
indefinitely, play randomly, manipulate and arrange to your hearts content
... or do nothing at all. Let your own imagination and unique personal needs
be your BEST GUIDE to using this program

NEXT ............ LETS ***DO*** SOMETHING WITH

THIS SOUND !
(coming soon !!!)

STILL IN WORK
Part 2
by Jimmie Holman
Now that we have a reasonably accurate method of frequency generation
established .. we now need some method of applying or introducing
those selected signals to their targets.
In most cases, the quickest and easiest method to accomplish this is by a
contact pad method.
As we know from reading elsewhere on this website, Frequency
Generation can come from a number of reliable sources. This can be
supplied via offtheshelf electronic function generators (lab and test
equipment variety varying in price from a few hundred to many thousand
dollars. There are units specifically designed toy drive the BareRife
plasma type devices starting in the $2 400 range. The commercially
available padtype devices are little more than a relatively inexpensive
frequency/function generator that is programable with some don't of "pad
driver" hopefully built in.

The device here is a commercially

available unit which typically has
sold under many different names
for prices generally easily in excess
of $1000. While in my personal
opinion the price is NOT justified, it
is not the purpose of this article to
make critical comparisons or
debate merits. However it IS our
goal to assemble and understand
how these units work and construct
a unit which will functionally match
or exceed the capabilities of these
type units. .... and we are still going
to attempt this on our "empty
bucket" budget

We have taken care of the SIGNAL issue in Part ONE and kept within
our budget using our personal compute to provide the programability,
storage, and graphical interface found in the very best of commercial
generators. Our next step will to build a cable set for part 3. of our
diagram below
1. SIGNAL >>> 2. AMPLIFIER >>> 3. CONTACT PADS
The marketed units typically have had pieces of cooper pipe you use as
handholds, or metal plates to use as footpads ... even aluminum trays
with water to place your feet in, or pieces of moistened terry cloth over a

small metallic plate to act as the contact pads. In most of these cases
you could simply clip your wires with the use of simple alligator clips.
While these methods technically will allow a conductive circuit and
contact to be made, it certainly is a testate to innovation and hints what
can be done in a tight.
It is HIGHLY suggested that we substitute purchased reusable adhesive
electrode pads for the above alternatives. Pad technology is quite good
and conductivity has proven to be far more effective than the alternatives
listed above. I have read that electrical transfer is approximately 10 times
that of moistens pads. These are currently not a "prescription item, may
be purchased from many pharmacies, chiropractors, even on the internet.
Typical Electrode Pads are sold for
use with TENS, FENS, NEMS etc.
type devices. The type here have
the standard pintype connection
which we will use without
modification.
While I have been quoted $32 for a
pack of 4 direct from the
pharmaceutical supply, prices half
that or less are more realistic and to
be expected.
For this Project I started with a stereo
headphone extension cable and
adapters readily available (app. $10
WalMart)
The color coded probes are
replacement probes for simple meter
test sets. the short pin is the only part
that is important. The short pins are
slightly tapered and readily fit inside
the electrode pad connectors.
(app. $1015 Radio Shack)
Cut "female" end of stereo cable
approximately 68" from end.
Cut off and Discard all 4 of the long test
probes.
Trim back, separate, sort, and prepare
cables exposing app. 3/8" to 1/2" of bare
wire
Note: both BLACK probe leads are
GROUND /COMMON / NEGATIVE and
should be twisted together as one.
Connect the (double) BLACK probe wires to
which ever of the stereo cable wires goes to
the base of the stereo plug (probably
black).

Connect each of the other RED probe leads

to each of the other remaining stereo cable
wires.. In this case RED and WHITE
Wires hopefully should be soldered but can just as easily be twisted and
taped. Make sure these wires cannot short against each other and are
securely bound up or taped. An clean assembly can be made with the
use of heat shrinkable tubing. This is but one recommended method of
making a very durable and useful cable assembly

Shown below are equally usable and durable cable assemblies made
from the same probe lead sets and a single stereo jack to be used with
an existing (unmodified) stereo extenuation cable. Both 2 and 4 lead
versions are shown below
Shown here is an alternative set
using only the test leads and a
stereo phono jack (shown in both 2
& 4 lead configurations) but relies on
a user supplied stereo extension
cable similar to that show in the right
side of photo.

For those persons who are

NOT able to construct the
above, we will be making
available THIS experimenter kit
which will be replacing the
previous versions. (Select
HERE or the photo for more
information.)

NEXT .... lets connect this to something !

Construction of a Rife Tube

Driver is pretty straight forward.
The components are relatively
simple but you MUST use
excellent construction practices
and quality materials as you are
dealing with exceptionally high
voltages.
Ventilation, cooling fan, heat sink
are also needed.
The diagram here should
be all that you need to
provide the necessary
electronics to "drive" the
plasma tube.

You must of course

provide the appropriate
square wave signal at app.
5 volts which triggers the
transistor which in turn is
stepped up with the
ignition coil.

Both the HV "Brick" and the Desktop Unit are available for Sale. Both
units allow different types of bulbs to be quickly and easily changed out
for the ultimate ease in Rife experimentation.

well as before and we have changed to the IC 12. Much better coil"

I AGREE. I began with the IC 12 (I believe was made in USA) but recently have
only been able to get the "SB" units (manufactured in Mexico). So ... based on this
... if you possibly can, go with the straight IC 12. (The NAPA stores here also never
seem to get more than one per store at a time ... regardless of how many they sell)

We realize that not everyone has the

tools, equipment, resources or
inclination t to construct the simple
device. This however can be used
with almost any locally purchased
stereo extension cable (i.e. WalMart,
Radio Shack, Target) to provide a
cable of sufficient length for your
personal experimentation and
configurations.
