D. Special Applications
The choice of a machine for an applicaation is a delicate
problem because it needs a great number off parameters to be
taken into account. Indeed, the machinee might be costeffective, light, a bit cumbersome, with a goood efficiency, etc.
The PMSM is without doubt the best canddidate in terms of
efficiency, power and mass density, and dynaamic performance.
in this context, PMSMs are the best choicee for robotics and
appliances applications [13-15].
