BACKGROUND
The "Moving on" project is an international project - Contact Making Event in the
framework of the Erasmus+ programme. After the end of the Youth in Action
programme we would like to continue in youth activities together with partners
from other countries, we need to exchange experience with other organisers of
youth projects, establish a long-term cooperation and find new topics for future
projects. One of the aims of the project si also our need to recognise the level of
our work through comparison with other partners and in cooperation with the
partners to learn new methods of work with youth so that we could move forward
in our work, to get on a higher level, therefore the title of the project "Moving on".
In the project we want to focus on extending cooperation with other organisations
from the countries we have not cooperated with yet or only rarely, we want to

VENUE
The project meeting will take place in eka, a small village under the Beskydy
mountains about 20 kilometres from Havov. The village of eka is situated in
the eastern part of the Czech Republic near the borders to Poland and Slovakia.

Here are the distances from other bigger towns:

Ostrava (30 km), Brno (180 km), Praha (350 km) all have airports
Katowice (100 km), Krakow (150 km) both in Poland, with airports
The project place in eka belongs to the Youth Centre Juventus in Karvin and
they helped us with arrangements also during our youth exchange in 2008. The
place is used for various youth activities organised not only by the Youth Centre
Juventus. We will have the whole building for ourselves!
We suppose to organise some activities also in the building of the Town hall which
is just few minutes from there.

HOW TO REACH THE VENUE FROM THE

AIRPORT
Those who will travel by plane can choose from the following airports:
Prague, Brno, Ostrava Katowice, Krakow or Vienna.
The nearest airports are in Ostrava or Katowice (PL), you can check whether you
have some good connection from your country. However, while the train
connection from Prague, Brno or Vienna is rather easy, sometimes i tis difficult
to find a good connection from Katowice or Krakow. To check the connections,
you can search the following websites:
www.idos.cz
www.pkp.pl
www.regiojet.cz
www.le.cz

(train connections in the Czech Republic)

(train connections in Poland)
(privat railway company)
(private railway company)

As eka is just a village and it would be hard for you to get straight to the place,
we can pick you at railway stations in Havov, Karvin, Bohumn or esk Tn
depending on your connections.
We are ready to help you with finding the best connection.

ABOUT US
The Moving on project is organised by a non-formal group of young people
called EUROTEAM.
EUROTEAM was officially founded in 2007 during a youth project in Madrid
in Spain and the members are mostly universities and secondary school students,
teachers and youth workers who work in the field of international projects of
various kinds and organise events for other young people and public. Since 2006

the members of Euroteam have taken part in various youth projects and training
courses in Turkey, Poland, Spain, Luxembourg, Italy, Denmark, Norway, France,
Greece and Georgia. Euroteam together with fundation Educa also organised two
youth projects in June 2008 under the name Breaking Stereotypes 2008 and Tutti
frutti explore all thr fruits of Europe in 2010.
The main goal of Euroteam is to allow young people meet their peers from
different European countries, use foreign languages in a real life, combat racism
and xenophobia, and encourage the feelings of the European citizenship,
tolerance, friendship and international co-operation.
Besides youth projects Euroteam organised several trips abroad for its members
- 11 sightseeing trips to England, 1 short trip to Ireland, 3 sightseeing trips to the
U.S.A. and 1 summer sightseeing trip to Japan.
Euroteam also helped to establish partner Euroteam teams in Turkey, Italy and
Latvia. Euroteam cooperates with many partner organisations, NGOs, non-formal
teams and fundations all over Europe.
