Job Description Requirements:

- Overall 5-7 years of IT experience with at least 2-3 years experience of Oracle
Middleware, Oracle SOA Suite 11g running on Linux servers.
- Solid experience in Installation and configuration of Oracle SOA 10g/11G Suite and
its supporting technologies (ORABPEL, ORAESB, ORAEJB) instances and clusters in
highly available and fault tolerant environment.
- Experience in creating new environments using clone technology provided by
Oracle.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Java tuning including JVM management and groups.
- Experience working with and deploying J2EE Applications and middleware on
primarily Unix/Linux platform
- Support Change management process.
- Participated in capacity planning of Oracle SOA infrastructure.
- Experience of supporting missing critical 24x7 production environment.
- Fluency in Web Services standards and technologies (e.g., XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD,
.UDDI, etc.).
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Command Center - Middleware Administrator/ Weblogic

Seeking a highly motivated individual for the 24*7 Command Center that is responsible for the monitoring and corrective actions
based on routine health checks, reactive administration as well as correlation and reporting for High Level of Service Availability
and Performance assurance. The individual would also be expected to be open for learning various related technologies to
assist in our journey towards IT as a Service (ITaaS)
Experience:
8 years of Weblogic and Portals experience with at least 12 months on VMware
Core experience in Oracle Weblogic Application Server, Apache HTTP & Tomcat.
Adequate knowledge on Liferay Portals
Should possess good troubleshooting & debugging skills.
Hands on Unix /RHEL commands.
Basic Unix shell scripting. Should have good communication skills.
Configuring, proactive monitoring and Troubleshooting of
Weblogic Application Servers
Apache HTTP server
Tomcat application servers 5, 6 & 7
SOA 10g
OSB 11g
Liferay
JDBC Providers, Data Source, Virtual Hosting, connection pooling
At application server level
Generating and analyzing Heap Dump, Thread dump
Troubleshooting JVM and Heap related issues.
Enabling JMX configuration at tomcat level for remote monitoring.
Monitoring and troubleshooting middleware integrations with Oracle, Informatica, Portals
Responsible for general SOA/Weblogic/Tomcat admin tasks like stop, start and restart Application Servers.
Experience with Incident Management, Customer Communication as well as overall coordination of resolution when other
groups / tech stack is involved
Additional Skills Preferred:
Maintenance of Informatica and various integration services deployed on it.
Maintenance of Oracle IDM, OAM.
Demonstrate understanding of Basic VSphere/ESXi Management.
General Skills:
Good Communication (Oral & Written) skills are essential.
Ability of quickly analyzes & diagnoses the problem.
Hardworking & Ready to learn additional related technologies.
To participate & Work with Local & Global Team.
Ready to take additional challenges.
Ability to acquire skills & keep them updated.
Certifications
Oracle Weblogic Server 11g Certified
Oracle SOA 10g certified
Oracle 12c certified
VCP Certification is added advantage
Qualification:
- Engineering Degree from good Institute (Electronics, Computer Science etc.,
OR
- Bachelor of Computer Science/Bachelor of Science/Equivalent Degree
OR
- Diploma in Computer Science or Electronics
Roles and Responsibilities:
Monitor System and application health with various SNMP based monitoring tools
Monitor URL availability with various application availability tools
Proactively captures the alert from the tools
Proactively identify business impacting and high priority issues
Troubleshoot alert with an immediate temporary workaround
Analyze and suggest long term permanent solution for the problem
Follow the strict SLAs for troubleshooting
Performance tuning with quick fix strategies
Proactively identify the situations leading to Out of Memory errors
Identify the Garbage Collection patterns and take appropriate actions
Perform effectively under pressure during critical outages
Maintain 100% availability of the system and hosted applications
Automate the day to day manual work
Partner with Tools and automation team
Helps and build world class Service Oriented monitoring
Partner with other technical teams and collaborate for end-to-end monitoring.
