Hypotheses and Rationale Bivariate
Marital status has an affect on prisoners sentenced to
death row. Inmates who are not married are more likely
to be sentenced to death. In this way, a larger
percentage of inmates on death row are not married
than inmates that are married.

Marital Status Age of Inmates

Hypotheses and Rationale Multivariate
The race of inmates has an influence on the affects of
marital status on inmates of prisoners under the death
sentence. More white inmates who are unmarried are
under the sentence of death. There is a larger
percentage of white non married inmates than black non
married inmates.
