CHAPTER I
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The business proponents came up with this logo because they business believed that it
can reflect and represent thoroughly the essence of the business.
The colors red, blue and green are the primary colors of the logo. Red brings focus to the
essence of life and living with emphasis on survival. In order to survive, everyone needs a home.
Blue is helpful to calm and to relax, to counteract chaos or agitation. It is used to provide relief to
people who have difficulty in sleeping or who have nightmares. It also encourages feelings of
communication and peace. Green is the most restful color. It symbolizes self-respect and wellbeing. It also symbolizes the master healer and life force.
The persons with disabilities (PWD) logo is used to emphasize the persons who will stay
in the dormitory.
C. Location
Location is one of the major factors to be considered in starting up a business. It must be
assured that it is accessible to the target market. If location is later found to be incompatible to
the situation as to give consideration to its target market, it may lead the company to failure.
The House of Wheelchair is located within the Trinity University of Asia campus. In that
case, only the persons with disabilities (PWD) students in the campus can stay in the dormitory.
D. Brief Description of the project
The project will consist of a building located within the Trinity University of Asia
campus that will be used to accommodate the persons with disabilities (PWD) who are studying
at Trinity University of Asia. It has modern facilities and an ambiance that is conducive to
learning. Female quarters are separate from male quarters.
Amenities:
24 hours security
WIFI study room
Wash area per room
Kitchen and dining area (common area)
Laundry area
First-aid medicine kit per room
Single-size bed
Air-conditioned room
Receiving area (for visitors)
E. Objectives
In 1995, Trinity University of Asia was recognized by former Pres. Fidel V. Ramos as the
Friendliest School for the Disabled. The main objective of this project is to prove that Trinity
University of Asia is continuing the tradition of caring for the disabled.
The secondary objectives of the study are to lessen their burden in commuting to school.
In addition, it provides a clean, comfortable and secure accommodation to students. Also, it gives
a wide variety of services.
Marketing Aspect
To be able to determine the impact of this proposed project to the stakeholders, both the students
and the university.
Management Aspect
To be able to promote the most appropriate method for the management of the dormitory.
Technical Aspect
To be able to create a good dormitory that will meet the expectations and needs of the PWD
students.
Financial Aspect
To be able to determine ways to make this project affordable to those who will benefit from it
and at the same time, profitable for the business owners.
Socio-economic Aspect
To be able to prove that the proposed project will benefit the students especially those
with disabilities, as well as the University.
CHAPTER II
MARKET STUDY
A. Potential Market
The potential market of this study is the persons with disabilities (PWD) that are enrolled
in Trinity University of Asia. Since this university is giving priority to PWD, Pres Fidel V.
Ramos recognized T.U.A. as the Friendliest School for Disabled in 1995. This also aims to
attract more PWD enrollees to study here in T.U.A. because they would feel more welcome if
there is a place for them to hangout during vacant periods or during their break time.
This facility is not actually new because there was a time that the school provides special
place for the wheelchair users who are enrolled. They called it Disabled Enablement and
Empowerment Program (DEEP). But sadly, when the wheelchair user enrollees decreased, they
decided to raze the place which was formerly located to where the University Chapel stands now.

D. Marketing Strategies
For marketing strategies, we should always consider the so called Marketing Mix:
Product, Place, Price and Promotion.
D.1. Product Strategy
The proposed project offers a dormitory for the persons with disabilities (PWD)
students of Trinity University of Asia. It is a place in the school campus where they can live a
comfortable life as they study and where all they needs will be provided. Internet use will be
available in the dormitory for the students to be able to do their homework and research. The
dormitory will be designed and built based on the needs of the PWD students.
D.2. Price Strategy
Determining the price is one great factor that affects the marketability of a certain
business or project. The price or the rent in the dormitory is P8, 500 per person per month.
E.3. Flyers
Flyers can have wide range of possible customers for it can be brought to other
places. It is helpful to introduce and create awareness of the project to its target market. It will
also give information about the project and its benefits.
CHAPTER III
TECHNICAL STUDY
The technical feasibility of the project deals with the allocation of resources that will be
needed to satisfy the customers. The technical soundness analysis will be considered complete if
all pertinent technical aspects of the project have been taken into account and if the planned
construction conforms to accepted standards and practices. The estimated cost of the project
should be as low as any other reasonably available alternate which would produce the intended
results. The objective of this chapter of the feasibility study is to determine to what extent the
project meets the technical aspects.
A. Plant Location
Since the proposed project is for the persons with disabilities (PWD), the business
proponents decided to erect the House of Wheelchair inside the Trinity University of Asia
campus so that their burden in commuting to school would be lessen. The dormitory will be
enough to shelter at least 10 wheelchair users (five boys and five girls).
It will be located near the University House and the swimming pool area because they
want the dormitory not just accessible but also convenient for the boarders. The place is peaceful
and conducive to learning.
Aside from that, it is surrounded by different fast-food chains and grocery stores.
Moreover, it is also located near the St. Lukes Medical Center in case of emergency.

E. Utilities
This dormitory will also be affordable for persons with disabilities (PWD) students.
There will be a fix monthly payment including the utilities such as electricity and water bills, for
the boarders. There will be an additional payment if one has additional gadget (e.g. P50.00 for
cellular phone, P100.00 for electric fan and P500.00 for laptop, tablet or desktop, P250.00 for
electric iron and others) depending on its kind and amount of the electric consumption. The
business proponents think that this would help to control the usage of electricity and it will be
fair for all.
E.1. Electricity
It is one of the primary utility requirements of a business. The proposed project will
greatly need this for its proper and smooth operations and also set the atmosphere of the
dormitory for its proper lighting and ambiance.
E.2. Water Supply
As the dormitory executes its operations, it needs a good water supply in order for the
persons with disabilities (PWD) students to continuously do their tasks. A good water supply will
ensure that the PWD students perform tasks such as taking a bath, washing the dishes and others.
E.3. Telecommunications
Telecommunications is a form of communication that is said to be indispensible to the
duration of a business. The proposed project need this so called telecommunications in order to
have a clear and proper negotiation with the customers regarding their feedbacks, suggestions,
recommendations and concerns, that can help and contribute to the business development and
profitability. Also, this will facilitate communication between the student and their families.

SOCIO-ECONOMIC STUDY
The socio-economic impact of this study will clearly state its relevance to the external
aspect of the business. It is to determine the contributions of the business to the Philippine
economy and to describe the benefits of the business to its community.
A. Socio-economic Aspect
A.1. Contribution to the Philippine Economy
Every business establishment will be of great help for the growth and development of
the Philippine economy. This will only be possible if every firm will be responsible enough to
perform their duties and obligations to the customers, to the community and to the government.
