The agencies that deploy eLearning have found the growing

use of eLearning applications. A majority of these endeavors
cater to the field of agriculture and education and to agency
clients or major stakeholders (e.g., farmers, fisher folk,
students) and employees;
Variations in modes of delivery and technology are present
ranging from Blended Learning, On-line Fora or Message
Boards, Short Messaging Systems, Computer-Based Training
(via flash downloads) to full scale online learning curricula;
The various eLearning endeavors are either managed solely
by the agency or with collaboration of other agencies. In
most cases, collaboration was done with agency that had
similar successful launches;

Sustainability of the endeavors for some of the
sites are yet to be determined as some
programs appeared static since their inception.

Enhancement of mechanisms to e-Service

Considering the few existing endeavors found in

the Philippine bureaucracy, the status of eLearning
as a medium of development is at most in its early
stages.
This however provides an opportunity for
potential growth and use and even a market by
itself to maximize.
